What's going to happen is that you will post a post in this thread (like the one I am quoting) and then I will quote it in a post replying to it (this post will also be in this thread). After that, others will post posts in this thread and if you want you can reply by making another post in this thread (quoting if it's necessary). Others can also do that.

Providing everyone sticks to these rules, it will work.

I just gave a quiz and have graded two papers. Thus far one paper is a 10% and the other is a 100%.

Everton that's way too many rules. No wonder you got fired as a mod.

Wearing fuschia pink stockings to work and eating cupcakes for breakfast is an amazing way of starting the day.

Downside: massive puffy black eyes today. I look like an insane sugar plum fairy from the neck down and a gang bashed panda from the neck up. [face_beatup]

Today is my birthday and I won a free month's rent. These events are not causally linked, actually. I can use the money to pay for surgery for my hedgehog.

I have never had a hedgehog operated on for my birthday before.

    amazon-turned-lovefilm
    why?
I doubt any of them can get away with mailing away FSK-18 DVDs in Germany

    Thanks for the reply.

I was asking for my own interest -- I use amango, they're the only ones I know of that also operate in Austria. Amazon has irritated me for over a year now in that when I go to the amazon.at site, I still get the rental ads, until I try to sign up and am told they only mail to German addresses. LoveFilm's selection seems alot a better than amago, who has neither scrubs nor Battlestar Galactica.

the only TV shows I rent(ed) are TNG and Rome.
and LoveFilm didn't make a very good first impression between taking too long to switch properly from amazon and sending me a broken (literally) Bourne Ultimatum.

But I get Sweeney Todd and Book of Secrets tomorrow. Only 5 days in and I believe my "month" actually only starts on the 3rd...

My big problem with Amango is that I usually get stuff that's 11 or lower on my list. Stuff like Bourne, POTC3, etc, has been on my list for ages. It's as if they only have one copy of each movie.

oh wow. I found it annoying already when... what was it... Transformers or something... well, some then-newly released movie was stuck on the waiting list for no apparent reason for 2 or 3 weeks. Wouldn't have waited as long as you do.

Well, my only other choices are to go to the local video store, which is a disaster with two small children (getting through a whole film in one sitting is nearly impossible, the kids don't go to sleep until 8 or later, and we're usually dead tired by 10) or have LoveFilm deliver to an address over the border in Germany, which would mean driving over there once a week to pick it up. So basically I'm stuck.

The local video store option is made worse by the fact that they consider a one day rental to meant that you bring it back that evening, and they close at 10 or so, with no overnight drop-off box. Where's Blockbuster when you need them?
