    So i went to work and they were confused as to why I was there, they assumed I would have jury duty. So, I was allowed to burn a vacation day and get a 3 day weekend. [face_dancing]

    Make-A-Wish comes through again - 10 year old Dawn, who has a life-threatening illness, wanted to meet Sir Patrick Stewart. After speaking to a room of 2000 at 2014 DragonCon, they arranged for Dawn to meet him backstage.

    i was at this show yesterday and the guy on the stage was like "does anyone here like moby?" i thought he was joking so i was like, "noooooo!" then he was like "well, this next song is a moby song." then as he started to play i yelled, "sorry!"

    the whole show was pretty ridiculous. here's a picture i took from the stage when we played earlier in the day.

    North Carolina man, 66, had been blind for 33 years - now, thanks to great doctors and technology, he can see, and is on the road to seeing more and more. I work in an academic medical center (hospital/university), and it is truly stunning, every time I see something like this - grant funding and motivated investigators make it all happen. A great share.
