Kendra may I suggest Chicago for some of your vacation time. It is beautiful here and we could have fun just giggling at each other for hours.

I had an interview with a car dealership today for a sales position. I have never really thought of selling cars before, not sure how I feel about it. Going back on Wednesday morning for a more in depth interview.

I was just wondering if they will form a Sexual Harassment Investigative Team to check on any reports of harassment.
To make sure they are legit.

I should be getting ready to meet some friends at a bar to watch the Packers game. But since I worked from home today, I'm still in my jammies and feeling rather lazy.

What is the world coming to when beer isn't enough incentive for me to get off my ass? :p

That's bad, cuz it isn't just beer, but beer and the Packers. That should be more than enough to motivate you.

I was at the local gaming store, talking to the owner about Dragonborn minis. He said they are really rare and everyone wants one and they are going for $20.

I bought a minis pack, and out of the eight random ones guess what I pulled? That's right, the Dragonborn.

I did eventually make it out to the game. Many beers were consumed and I fell in love with Aaron Rodgers. :p

There is a wonderful park near my work. I am a very keen birdwatcher. I've known for a few weeks now that a large group of Goldcrests have been foraging in some of the nearby conifers. These little blighters are not easy birds to see, as they're one of the UK's smallest birds. Plus, they move at a million miles an hour through the trees - darting here and there making spotting them for long enough to see them through binoculars. Anyway today, at lunch, after a couple of weeks of patient observation, I finally got a cracking look at the birds. Three of them sitting on an exposed branch singing their hearts out. Minniscule yet magnificent.

    Patience FTW.

There is a wonderful secret government facility near my work. I am a very keen conspiracy theorist. I've known for a few weeks now that a large group of UFOs have been crash-landing in some of the secret government facility forests. These little craft are not easy birds to see, as my friend Mulder says they're really small. Plus, they move at a million miles an hour through the sky - darting here and there and then crashing in a blur, making spotting them for long enough to see them through binoculars not easy. Anyway today, at lunch, after a couple of weeks of patient observation, I finally got a cracking look at the crashed birds. Three of them strewn across an exposed grassy area. The truth is out there.

    Patience FTW.

I'm at the airport, waiting for my flight to Dallas (and enjoying a tasty, double Bloody Mary).

It's kind of surreal watching everyone at my gate glued to the TV, watching the hurricane coverage. Should be a roller coaster of a landing, if the Tropical Storm warning is still in effect.

More alcohol on the plane methinks! :p

    a. I like this thread.

    b. Socializing has been making me grumpy lately. It makes me feel bad to be getting bitchy for no real reason other than I'm lacking me time and art time, heh. :p

    c. I seriously need to start counting calories again today. AND keeping track of any money I waste eating out, etc now. :p

Our street flooded due to all the rain, we can't drive anywhere without risking our cars. At least we are not one of the poor people that were parked on the street and now they have flooded cars.
