The problem with "The Goode Family" is that it didn't really do anything except say "here's some liberal stereotypes, laugh dammit". None of the characters grew or changed because of their experiences, and as a result, the show flopped. It was about as effective as the "[insert genre here] Movie" movies. That's the reason "King of the Hill" was such a success....because while Hank Hill was written as a conservative character, he never fell into being a tired stereotype.
I didn't know it's possible to do reverse image searches until now. My ordinary MO would have been to look for a clue in the image URL.
I just noticed I can buy the one and only season on DVD at Amazon, I will be doing so for sure !!!!!!!!!
