Yes, actually, they'll go with the costume fairly well, and with the cape and the belt, they'll blend right in with the shirt and they'll be fine. They're just a bit fun to poke at by themselves.

 

I just noticed that Bats is wearing BLACK sparkly panties...

Well what's the fun in that? If I had to wear briefs on the outside, I'd make sure they were sparkly and had chrome nekkid trucked mudflap girlies on each butt cheek.

 

Maybe next year I should do the old skool Brainiac. Just need a pair of fuschia sparkly panties and 5 dots on my forehead.

And when nobody was looking, I could rearrange the dots and go as someone from DBZ.

 

Well, seein' as how I'm gonna be the dude in the quasi-sparkly silver/black skirt, I don't suppose I can comment.


Nevertheless, the progress on these costumes is MOST IMPRESSIVE. Can't wait to see 'em in...

Interesting sidenote for the Gothamites.

I just found out that in the current comics storyline, Robin's parents find out he's Robin and make him quit.

Spoiler becomes the new Robin, long flowing blonde hair and all.

I'm sure it's of course only temporary (as even death is in comics these days) but it's an interesting wrinkle.
