    The current Robin's (Robin III) parents are alive, if you don't read the comics you probably only know Robin I (Dick Grayson) whose parents died in a trapeze accident.

    In light of recent comments I have decided to bow out of the costume contest as Robin. Sorry guys, I don't think I can wear the "sparkly red panties" and put up with all the crap all weekend long. Good luck to you.

    Does a person qualify for haveing a "visible panty line' if they have there under wear on the out side?

    When I show up tomorrow, ... excuse me - TONIGHT, somebody please remember to ask me if I bought a white shirt.
    Simplest, easiest thing I could possibly need for a costume, and its the one thing I keep forgetting about.

    in my defense that was a generalized question. 8-}

    is referring to something that only applies to two people really generalized? :p hehe

    btw, I ended up getting those boots Terry posted about awhile back. I'm wearing them for Robin even though they're not comic-accurate. They fit better than my Jedi Boots and look way cooler. And when the velcro straps are tightened, they have that little batman-type look stickin off the back (dunno if that sounds right, but you'll see em).

    Question: Should I do Jedi on Saturday? It looks like our SG-1 uni's are outta the question since the jerks took way longer than they said on shipping our patches.

    We might still do some SGC Security Forces if we can get our hands on the berets (afsf berets are pretty hard to get ahold of apparently)...but it's looking doubtful.

    Isn't the dealer room gonna be open for a short period of time on Friday? I told...Henry (?)...that he could probably get the patches in the dealer room and then sew them on real quick around us since we might actually be working on stuff. I can bring my leather needles -- they make sewing on patches go really fast.

    yeah, the main problem with that is that I doubt they'll have the desert patches, and if we do regular BDU's, we'll need the Security Forces berets...

    But sure! Do yer Jedi. Most of the Troopers will be out that day. Most won't stick around to Sunday...if it's anything like last year, unless they actually let them escort Peter Mayhew to the stage on Sunday.

    hmm, if we can't find the berets, we might just find an random SG-# patch and be regular sg-people sans tac-vests...

    terry: you're doing an SG-1 uniform, right? what u doing for tac vest? please tell me you didn't buy a blackhawk???

    No, I didn't get a blackhawk. Partially because they're backordered until May. I got a vest from a place called Out In Style, and it's pretty close to the EOD vest they use.
