The graphics thread.

Evening y'all.

One of the topics that was brought up the other night was the issue of graphics for the forum. Meaning the top, the side, the graphics on the side of the banner, and the avatar.

So, I thought it was about time that it was discussed, and some stuff was showcased.

Here are two of my ideas for an avatar...cheap and cheerful!

the second one is excellent.

and as for the banner i have cheated somewhat and got my bro involved to see what he can come up with (hope this is cool) i keep telling him to sign up and join in but he seems to be a bit shy ATM.

Second one is the better of the two m8.

I'm no artist but when I get some free time I'll try knocking something up for the banner.

 

i prefer the second one! The first is just too ordinary! and not as much fun!

I would make a play for you Mark but my sexual preference and the fact that I'm married kind of makes it pointless.

I will have some free time and I have already started work !

i had an idea, it was the Cross of Saint George with the letters FF-UK:M across the middle, but Mark beat me to it. damn my slow reflexes/crappiness with photoshop.

 

maybe u can teach me what you know and bring me up to crap status on photoshop!

Phill, can we still have the second avatar, what with everything thats happened (i.e. it was designed by Mark)? i think it`s a universal choice by everyone that it was the best one. don`t know the processes/timescale involved with these things, or were we going to give it time in case anyone could top that one? just a thought.

 

Hiya mate, I was hoping to wait for a little bit and see if anyone else has any ideas they wanted to submit. Choice is always a good thing.

I'm still working on the forum banner, I sent Mark a rough copy and will have it up soon for you all to view and tear to pieces.

 

i have made a couple of suggestions which nobody has commented on!
and i cant do an actual pic because i dont have photoshop or anything!
