This is all about contradiction and errors. So many errors are made when anyone tackles this in the books or other stuff. There are heaps of addition errors plain contradictions over the suit names, number of cards etc.

How many version of poker can you name? Sabacc has many different versions. While many may use the same suits and number of cards, there will be others that of different suits and different size decks.

I only collect a few of the CCG cards and I have 3 different versions of Sabaac in there. I'm sure there are many more versions.

Has anybody played that old downloadable sabacc game? I think you can find it at ZDnet or somewhere like that. Anywho, it had several different kinds of sabacc (around 10, I think).

this is the unofficial encyclopedia's xplanation:

a card game played in most every casino, it involves a standard deck of four suits (sabres, coins, flasks, and staves), each having 11 regular cards (1-11) and four ranked cards (the Commander, The Mistress, the Master, and the Ace). The ranked cards are valued from 12-15. The standard deck also includes 2 sets of 8 face cards, known as The Idiot (0), the Queen of Air and Darkness (+/-2), Endurance (+/-8), Balance (+/-11), Demise (+/-13), Moderation (+/-13), the Evil One (+/-15), and the Star (+/-17). Note that Galaxy of Fear 4 - The Nightmare Machine claims there are only 72 cards in a sabacc deck. Non-standard sabacc decks have included such face cards as Chance, Hazard, the Satellite, The Wheel, and The Damaged Starship, among others. The object is to come as close to +/-23 as possible. A score of greater than 23, less than -23, or 0 is a "bomb-out." There are multiple rounds played, and wagering occurs in each round. Two pots may be won; one for each hand, and one for the entire match. There are 5 major forms.

"other than normal sabaac iknow of sabaac solitaire and force sabaac but thats it...can anyone name more?"

Read the part of the Jedi Academy trilogy where Han and Lando are playing randomized sabaac for the Falcon. They play like 20 versions.

There are quite a few versions of Sabacc, there are about five or six versions in Sabacc Online v1.0

The guys who make SW games should introduce a Sabacc game for us all to enjoy
