I read Kingdom Come and loved it. That Raven guy must suck.
I'm reading Sandman again.
It is literally so good it makes me sick. It's so heavy
No, just better taste in art. Anyone who makes Wonder Woman look like a middle-aged overweight man needs to have his pencils broken.
Yes, exactly the words I was looking for to describe that art and anyone who likes that art.
ChissManv2 (10:09:59 PM): But how long is it going to be? #32 is solicited as "part four!" While a neat idea I dunno if I want issue after issue of an origin story. They should just replace Hal with Kyle anyway.
I did not say that last part. I think Hal is awesome.
ChissManv2 (11:35:06 PM):I totally said that.
You're better than this So...wait, never mind...
All Star Superman is the greatest comic ever. Grant Morrison makes superman using tiny supermen coming from his hand somehow beautiful and moving.
My most wanted comics team-up: Agatha Heterodyne, Girl Genius and Barry Ween, Boy Genius.
So David Mack: big jackass or the biggest jackass.
Evidently he went to the art school of Greg Land
Wipe up the mess you just made Soontir.
But in all seriousness, that does look pretty awesome.
Look over in the DC. I posted a second pic, a link to the interview with Geoff Johns and highlights from said interview.
Why is the Central Battery burning?
WHERE ARE THE GREEN LANTERNS
I swear to god Morrison better make Darkseid like Rock of ages times a billion to make up for him sitting on Mary's couch like a bum.
Yes, here's the part where I harp on "Death of the New Gods" ALL over again...
[hl=black]At least in that mini-series, the last issue is looking like Darkseid will be squaring off against the entity that is the unified Anti-Life equation and the Source. Yep, we now have one cosmic force.[/hl]
But I'm going to agree that SHOULD we see Darkseid in "Final Crisis", it'd better be written closely to "Rock of Ages" material, because that was still one of my favorite JLA story arcs.
According to Legion lore, prior to the "Zero Hour" reboot, the Green Lanterns were all wiped out by the time the Legion came into existence. Only Rond Vidar was active. He's the son of Universo, an enemy of the Legion. Rond became a GL prior to the destruction of the GL Corp and their subsequent ban on Earth. Rond served as a member of the Legion as "Infinite Man".
We'll find out what happened to the GL's and who the only other GL, besides Rond, is active.
Anyone reading Superpowers? I just got #0 and haven't read it yet, but I wonder what your opinions are.
Although to be fair that is my default emotion.
Isn't that the Alex Ross thing?
Nick Fury better do something interesting. And Where is Luthor on that cover
WHERE IS LUTHOR
Nick Fury's back in the MU? That really messes with the whole, "IRON MAN IS EVERYWHERE", mentality, along with the, "Maria Hill makes me miss Baron Strucker", mentality.
Man, I love Coipel's work.
Man, I love Daniel's work.
