The "Phantom Menace" refers to the Sith character Darth Maul, or the sith as a whole. (I believe)

 

There's always a big canon/EU debate about whether the sith is more powerful than the Jedi.

The Sith, there are always two, one master and one apprentice. The apprentice kills the master when his/her training is complete (or something like that...)

 

I have a question for all u factoids.

When Luke goes into the 'cave' on Tatooine & confronts Vader, is Yoda doing a mindtrick on him, or is there just a darth vader robot with Luke's face inside hagingin about on Dagobah.??????

 

Palpatine was a Sith. Palpatine knew Amidala. Amidala knew Jar Jar Binks. Jar Jar Binks was not a Sith.

 

Jar Jar isnt a Sith. Jar Jar is a Gungan. Sith believe in the dark side. Fear is the path of the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering. Jar Jar will suffer

 

Jar Jar usually mucks things up due to his clumsiness, however he mucked the entire universe with no clumsiness what-so-ever.

 

Damo: I don't think Yoda was mind-tricking on Luke in the cave. Not too sure what really happened either; but in the EU it is said that cave once had a Dark Lord of the Sith who lived there, so Yoda can conceal himself by living close to the cave...or something. Luke went back to the cave and found a thingy (forgot what that is too ) and he had another 'vision' there, he was the the sail barge but he failed to recue everyone including himself, and he saw Mara there. That was possibly in the Thrawn trilogy. I can't remeber exactly which one either. And that's about as much as I know about the cave and the visions. [face_girn]

Back to topic: Jar Jar was a representative for senator Amidala in AOTC. He was elected because the Naboo people prefer purity of the heart over knowledge and experience. Jar Jar took on something beyond he abilities.

 

People thought Senator Amidala blew up at the beginning of AOTC, but it was only her decoy, Cordé. Her bodyguard, Captain "Hammer Hardware" Typho, didn't seem too happy about it all.

 

When you really think about it, they should have been more careful. You can't just let your decoys blow up for you everytime you land on Coruscant. Padmé would be a bloody murderer if she keeps doing that.

There are a lot more water on Naboo than on Tatooine. But there are a lot more sand on Tatooine than on Naboo.
