OOC: Surprisingly, yes.

 

OOC: Up... There's a hanging tag on Dubrillion for the peace team.

 

Kyp stood back as the shapers began to tend to Jacen. He didn't like the Vong, and he didn't trust them. As far as he was concerned, it was best to stay as far away from them as possible. He watched with a mixture of disgust and fear.

Meanwhile, Rygash Vrastar, impatient, arrived and came down to the landing site, ceremonial amphistaffs in both hands. He watched from a distance, and called,

"Perhaps you would all like to follow me, while our shapers treat your wounded Jeedai?"

OOC: Okay, I don't think I'll be able to be on much in the next week...I've got rehearsals galore, plus the teachers from Hell are adding more homework and memorization things for us. Which sucks. I have to memorize my Goth monologue (imagine a pale blonde girl wearing a black wig and all black and carrying around a rat. squick), 4 different Shakespeare things. ARGH. And a poem.

I hate school. So I'll try to be on as much as possible, but if you need my characters, Uh...I give Reana to KnightHawk and whoever needs Leia can use her.


Again, as much as possible...so maybe every 2 days? Sorry.

 

OOC: Sorry, I've been attacked by Darth RL lately...but I'm back and in action.

Sora:

Sora turned to the Vong who addressed them.

"Of course we shall follow. I have faith that you will tend Jacen to the best of your abilities."

She gestured for the others to follow her, and began to walk towards the the Vong.


Jaina:

Jaina didn't want to leave her brother, but she knew that the mission was of the utmost importance, and that Jacen would want her to make sure it ran smoothly.

She just hoped that he would be okay. Despite Sora's words, and the nature of the mission, she was finding it impossible to get over her mistrust of the Vong.

OOC: Hey sorry I haven't been around, what's been going on so I can get back into this?

 

OOC: Well, not much has been happening recently, so the summary's still the same-
Jaina, Jacen, Kyp, Sora and the Vong characters are all on Dubrillion, and on Coruscant, Adam's in his quarters at the Palace and Lance and Reana are at their apartment, so Jasmine and Devon will be at their own home.

IC as Vrastar/Kyp

Vrastar nodded and motioned for the guards to lead the humans inside.

"Please tell us if something is uncomfortable or strange to you. We are not used to human customs. Trust me, our shapers will heal your wounded Solo."

Vrastar flashed a sharp glance at Kyp Durron. The last time the pair had met, Kyp had been Vrastar's prisoner for execution.

"Ah...Jeedai Durron. How nice of you to join the negotiations also. I am pleased to see you here."

"Likewise," replied Kyp, his voice cold. Vrastar turned around and led the way inside.

OOC: So what's going on with the Vong? JW

 

OOC: As stated earlier in the thread, the Yuuzhan Vong are seeking peace with the Republic as part of a scheme of deception. Some time in the future, that peace will be shattered, intentionally, by the Yuuzhan Vong. Until then, the two groups are allies.

 

OOC; That's what I thought, I knew it

 

OOC: Can we get this moving?

OOC I wish we could get this moving. But then a little computer virus sneaks along into your quiet life and decides to have a little 'fun' at your expense. Well, I won't be able to post for a while.

 

OOC: Sorry to hear that, W_J. I myself have been battling with DRL, and finally have defeated him (for now). So, here goes.


Sora:

Sora followed the Vong closely, making sure to observe all the she could. She mentally catalogued everything she saw that she could identify, trying to get an idea of what to expect from this mission.


Jaina:

"Ah...Jeedai Durron. How nice of you to join the negotiations also. I am pleased to see you here."

"Likewise."

Jaina quickly relized that this was the Vong warrior who had held Kyp captive. She went to follow both of them, keeping a close eye on Kyp. Both of them would have to do their best to keep their emotions in check as to not endanger the mission.

OOC: Time to get this one alive again! (Plots the random introduction of a stowaway to wake everyone up.)

NPC:

The sounds of footsteps faded away into silence, followed by the fading of boot-crunches on dirt and gravel. Silently and slowly, Danni Quee slid open the secret hatch she had hidden in, not comfortable with the information she had heard while in the compartment and obviously terrified. First off, the entire issue with the Yuuzhan Vong had her literally jumping out of her skin. Next, the idea that the young man who had saved her life was under the care of these 'things' made the bile rise in her throat. Quickly, she dashed out of the ship, only to attract the attention of the guards, and get grabbed by one of them very harshly.

This seems to be getting more and more confusing...I wish there was a way to make it not so confusing. *sob*

OOC: This game's got so slow recently- I remember the times when I was struggling to keep up. Just stay positive guys, things'll get better.

IC as Kyp and Vrastar

Vrastar led the diplomats into a specially prepared and scented room, designed by the shapers to relax the humans. Vrastar made sure they were comfortably seated.

"Don't worry," he said. "Your wounded Solo is in good hands."

Kyp glanced at Jaina, hoping she wasn't too worried. He was, even though he had no great liking for Jacen.

A subaltern entered the room, and whispered something into Vrastar's ear. The High Priest did not change expression, though he silently called upon Yun Harla to help him through this with a smile on his face.

"It seems you have a hidden passenger on board your ship. Bring her here, guards."

Vrastar's smile faded.

"What was she doing, trying to hide from us?"

Jaina stared in shock as Danni Quee came into sight.

"What? Danni, why are you here?"


Sora

Sora was surprised to see the stowaway, and quickly turned to their escort.

"I assure you, I had no idea that there was anyone other than myself and Jacen Solo aboard the ship."

Okay guys, here's a plan. Tell us what you think of it.

Thanks to the brilliant thinking of KnightHawk We have come up with the idea, that maybe we should start over.

And at the end of each day or so, KnightHawk will put up a synopsis of what went on that day, so things aren't as confusing.

I think it's a great idea, especially that synopsis thing, because looking at HOD now, it's very confusing.

If you have any objections, comments, questions, ideas, please PM either Me or KnightHawk.

Okay... First off, I should state that the idea of posting an after-play synopsis was mentioned a long time back in the NR Faction Thread in the IBoP series. Credit for the idea goes to Rampani for actually suggesting it, even though it wasn't used.

Secondly, I recieved a PM from Winged_Jedi showing some distress to the idea of starting over, and he has approached me with the following idea as a substitute: Instead of closing down and restarting, he believes it would be beneficial if we lock this down after writing up one of these summaries to get the game to a conclusion faster, by just forcing it to have one. The context of the PM is below.

Personally, I like the idea very much, and would be willing to take the next few days to plan up the ending script and post it up in the thread. If there are any other comments/ideas, please feel free to voice them. :)

 

Um...well, I'm really not sure about this. I haven't really been here very long, but I'm not sure how keen I am on the idea of starting over.

But whatever the rest of you decide, I'm good with. As long as I still get my two characters.

OOC: I had a feeling someone would bring up going straight to the sequal. And it's a good idea. I say lets kill those who are going to die, now and go on.

Any more suggestions?

 

OOC: Vrastar can wrap up the peace treaty, and I'd like Adam to just stay on Coruscant. Are you still going to put a Dark Jacen rampage in the summary? If so, I'm happy for Kyp to die.

 

OOC: I plan on actually having Kyp live a little longer than you would expect... But I'll consider working his death in.
