Ah Crom, Conan's god. In Actual Celtic mythos the name Crom comes from Crom Cruach who took on human sacrifice. His worship came to an end via Saint Patrick(holiday tie in!)

Crom did no answer prayers. Generally his name is invoked in a curse to enemies.

Interesting that Crom has any worshipers as his flock will say to never draw his attention as it just brings doom. Perhaps this is Crom's way of invoking individualism and a that which does not kill you makes you stronger way of life.

 

Crem, please.

 

Did Crom listen to Conan or he just happened to get his revenge because he's Conan?

 

He got his revenge because he's Conan. But Crom was probably quite pleased with the events.
