The History of Sidious

Are there any books out there that deal with the history of Sidious? Who he was to begin with, how he realised he was strong in the force, who his Sith master was, how did sidious kill him and beome the new Master? I think he's one of the most interesting characters in Star Wars, and after seeing what he was capable of in the RotS trailer, I'd love to find out more about him.....

 

His master was Darth Plagueis (sp?). Thas about all I know.

I'd love to know more about him but just little bits here and there. If we learn too much about him he loses all of his scary impact.

That wouldn't be good.

 

Where's it say his master was Darth Plagueis? I've heard the name bandied around, but never seen where it came from.

 

Labyrinth of Evil mentions it once in passing.

 

It also mentioned Sid kills Plaegiouis.

 

Yes, the less history presented of Sidious, the better. Remember how he was presented in the OT. He was only mentioned in ANH and given a short teleconference in ESB, so that when we first saw him in RotJ his aura was intact. I think it would be better to leave him alone for the most part, except possibly how he usurped the Master title.
