    Well they went to Rivendell, it's totally fine to let her show up.

    Overall the movie's problem is quite simple, the book is even shorter than FotR, make it 3 movies of 9 hours is way too much. And I don't like the Galadriel touches Gandalf's hair scene.

    You do know that Part 3 will not be based on the book, right? Part 3 will focus on bridging the gap to LOTR

    i'm pretty sure this isn't true. part 3 will feature the climactic events of the hobbit, with the white council driving the necromancer out of mirkwood and a bunch of other extraneous stuff thrown in on top of it as is jackson's wont.

    I understand why, but it is very different from Tolkien's timeline.
