I read it to my kid sister. It was amazing.
This may seem obvious but it hasn't been mentioned. Since the Twitter and facebook links displayed at the end of the last TV spot Maria posted are for the UK sites, that pretty much confirms HFR showings over here (and that is an encouraging thought).
Just a matter of time, now.
Yes, that is slightly comforting.
Another new pic found:
Fíli looks fantastic. Kíli still looks like a model, and continues to worry me. It's all down to how Aiden Turner plays him, for me.
Really, it's just that the actor is a good-looking guy and they didn't put any prosthetics on his face.
I checked Odeon's website and this is what they have on their Hobbit 3D page:
I hate how slow they're with confirming it, when friggin' Norway has already confirmed it in 5 cinemas.
Yes, it is.
The idea that dwarves need not be ugly is radical, bordering on heretical.
Thing is, he's the only one. Feels like hunk appeal. Turner didn't have to be made ugly, just imperfect. Still, I'm still hoping he'll be great.
What do you mean, "ugly"? I just wish he'd have a proper beard like a proper dwarf. He'd still be hot.
A beard would certainly help, yes.
And Fili is hot and still looks like a proper dwarf. Ergo, the two are not mutually exclusive.
Not to mention Thorin...
Some great behind-the-scenes gifs of the Unexpected Party

I fully expect E to have a beard by Christmas.
Personally, I'm indifferent to beards, but not every man looks good in one. I wouldn't say no to a pair of sideburns, though.
...unless you meant me...
Still can't get videos to work, but new track from the Hobbit soundtrack....Old Friends Extended. Starts with a slightly modified Shire theme.
Oh, my... I had kept away, somehow, from most of the production vlogs, so the first time I really saw Thorin was in the trailer. And suddenly Dwarves and sexiness didn't seem so mutually exclusive anymore. Photos of Armitage did the rest...
I'm trying to get them to work, but they refuse.
Wait.... theonering.net just posted it.
Double post. Sorry.
Given E's rather boyish looks, perhaps he'd be better off investing in a good ax.
EDIT: or one of these:
