If you haven't seen the teaser trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey yet... what have you been doing with all your time last night and today?!? It is absolutely superb. I was impressed with the flow for visuals, music and theme. Unlike some teaser trailers, this one showed enough to make everyone happily excited about the movie. I really loved the music, and already have made a ringtone of the dwarves singing the Misty Mountains song. I can't wait for the sountrack and a longer version of that instrumental theme.

    358 days to go!! :D

I know T, I had chills just watching 2 minutes of it, I can't imagine how awesome it will be to see it all in it's Glorious Peter Jackson Vision!

So warming to see Ian back in His Grey. [face_dancing]

I can't wait to see the Hobbit. It looks fantastic so far.

And they seemed to doa good job of making the Dwarves look different. When I ready it, I had a very hard time telling them apart. Hopefully we'll be able to keep track of them all.

I think this is going to be fantastic! This one I'm willing to pay money to see on the big screen. Unfortunately, this too will be in 3D (my eyes are getting really tired of 3D), so I'll wait for the 2D version to come out. Maybe we should all break out our elf and hobbit costumes and go as a group...

I know we are all caught up with the Episode VII / Disney news today, but don't forget that the Hobbit is rapidly approaching! Only 6.5 weeks till the premiere! Also, advanced tickets go on sale in just over ONE WEEK on Nov 7!

And for those who like tie-in collectibles, apparently Denny's will have collectible cards to go along with their new Hobbit-theme menu starting in a week.

Is this for December? The 15th is the RMFF December meeting.

I have also just heard that there will be LotR extended marathons shown nationwide, the weekend before the Hobbit premiere.

    LOTR Marathon Saturday Dec 8th
    $30 for all three movies.
UA Colorado starts at 11:15am (strongly suggesting that one since a few of us will be at the '40's Ball the night before)
    AMC Highlands starts at 10:00am
Nothing on Fandango about whether it's extended versions or not, guessing it's the original theatrical releases.
I think there will be some time between movies to get a bite to eat, long but really fun day!

I can't go to the midnight showing of Hobbit since I'll be in Ft. Collins Toys-for-Tots all day on the 15th with AL, then the company's Christmas party that night. Looks like I'll miss the "liquid" party/meeting. Just too many things going on that weekend for me. I'll go to the Hobbit probably on Christmas day matinee. Until then, no spoilers please!!
