I thought there would be an answer by now.

 

I'm in. You can never have enough of those, especially when waiting for Inty.

I was going to call Inty a cruel task master for making us wait like this, but given the sammich, I say let him take all the time he wants.

Hal, our match last time came down to a steal as well -- after frared vanished having given only half an answer, you took advantage and stole. She adds "music" to "downloading" and I'm not sure you'd have come up with job hunting, which was the final answer.

 

I just had a brainwave

Halloween

 

I've been thinking semester break, since it's students. Festivus is another possibility. And ... nothing -- ie, people just say it without meaning anything in particular.

 

Inty has waited for the current champs to wake back up again.
The man is pure class.

I'm really thinking more and more the last answer is nothing -- which is why Inty picked it as the final question. It just sort of adds up, doesn't it?

The correct answer is what's inside those eggs, JR.

Who knows, maybe three of the students who were asked were atheists.

 

He'd better be bringing us donuts with the announcement!

 

The exact wording of the question is "Name a Holiday you include when you say the phrase ?Happy Holidays? "

If you interpret that to mean you say HH once a year, and it incorporates a number of holidays at once, I guess if you say it early enough, you could mean Halloween. More likely would be Festivus, since it falls in the period between Thanksgiving and New Years.

EDIT: The problem with Halloween is that it's not really a holiday, either governmental or religious, really more an event in a way.

 

I have actually blocked Inty's internet access so the sammich can go on indefinitely.
