Prologue

Luke Skywalker watched as the sunlight shown on the great chamber
of the Jedi Council. So Many Councilors had sat with Luke. Only one
had remained with Luke. Jedi Master Yoda's unique biology enabled
him to age slower than most others. Although Yoda only looks 100,
in reality he is almost 2,000 years old.
I wish I had that right now Luke commented.
The 100 year old Master sighed. He slumped back
into his hoverchair and continued to reminisce. Luke was quite old
for a human.Luke still sat on the council though he had long
retired from active combat.
He's late Luke thought.
Ben was suppossed to be at the chamber ten minutes ago.
Finally he saw his son running up.

"Sorry Im late dad." Ben said

"That's alright" Luke said.

"Are we ready to go?" Ben asked

"Yes let's go" Luke said.

Luke heard the familiar whistle
of Artoo Detoo behind him.

"Yes Artoo we'd never forget you" Luke said

The two Jedi and the droid headed toward
their speeder.

Jedi Master Yoda watched as young
Owen Skywalker dueled another padawan.

"Very impressive" Jedi Master Yesh said from
his hoverchair

"Yes very" Yoda replied.

Yesh stroked his white gotee.

"What is wrong former Master" Yoda asked

"I was just thinking about something.
Its nothing. Does young Solo have
a Master yet?"

"No he is still without a Master." Yoda replied

"Then I think it is time to persuade a Master
to take young Bail." Yesh said

"Late we are" Yoda said

"Let's go" Yesh said.

Owen Skywalker closed down his lightsaber.

"Very impressive padawan" Nejaa Horn commented

Owen bowed. "Thank you Master"

Nejaa clasped the twenty year old boy on
the back. "You must get ready. You have
a ceremony to attend later."

"Yes Master" Owen replied.
************************************
Chancellor Mon Antilles stood
up to speak to the assembled
crowd.
" Esteemed Collegues members
of the Jedi Council. Today we
honor the heroes of the Yuuhzan
Vong invasion. Jedi Masters Luke
Skywalker and Yoda."

Applause rang throughout
the chamber. Luke hovered over
to the podium and Yoda followed.

"Thank you Chancellor" Luke said
"I look out among the crowd and see
all the young jedi that I have known since
they first came to the Temple.
I see all my descendents and see how
much they remind me of their parents.
Today we honor all who fought to give
us what we have now. General Han Solo,
Jedi Master Leia Organa Solo, Jedi Master
Anakin Solo, Jedi Master Jaina Solo,Jedi
Master Jacen Solo, Chancellor Padmè
Amidala Skwalker, Jedi Master Anakin
Skywalker... Luke read all the names of
the heroes of the Yuuhzan Vong invasion.

Yoda took the podium.

"Their memory will be preserved forever
in the grand hall of the Jedi Temple
where statues of each hero will reside
for future generations to see"

The room erupted with applause.

"Look at them. Honoring
their so called heroes!"

"They don't know who the
real heroes are."

"They will pay for the
ignorance"

"Luke Skywalker must die"

"Then those fools will see
who the real heroes are."

"Shut that thing off!"

A red lightsaber flew into
the screen as the camera panned
on Luke.

 

Cool, I like, continue

 

Working on it. Juggling three fics won't be easy. The only reason I posted this is that the others are coming to an end. One sooner than the other. But I will get another post up soon.

 

Chapter 1

13 year old Bail Solo watched
as his 8 year old cousins practiced sparring
with their lightsabers.
Shimi Solo's violet blade
was a blur of motion as she
blocked Beru Fel's azure blade.

Jedi Councilor Jasayn Kenobi
watched as the two girls sparred.

Shimi leapt high into the air and landed behind
Beru. She prepared to tap Beru's neck with her blade.
Instead her cousin dropped to the floor and rolled into
a crouch coming up on her left knee.

"Nice trick" Shimi said

"Thanks" Beru replied.

Beru stood up into a fighting
stance and waited.

Shimi charged at Beru.
Beru prepared her blade
to block Shimi's and moved
it to block air.

Shimi somersaulted over Beru and
touched Beru's neck.

"Point" Jasayn said.

The two girls deactivated their
sabers. and sat on the
training mat. Jasayn walked
over.
"Very good girls. Very impressive.
Beru you should be more aware of your
surroundings. If you had you would have sensed
Shimi's true intent. Shimi you shouldn't
charge into battle like a wild bantha.
You need to feel the force and listen
to it. Wash up and report to the assembly
in one hour."

The two girls stood up.
Jasayn turned to the rest of her audience
who had remained hidden throughout the
match.

"What did you think?" Jasayn asked

"Most impressive girls" Luke said

The two girls blushed.

"Very good duelists you are" Yesh observed.

"Very strong with the force you two
are" Yoda said

"This was a spectacular match" Grask Windu said

"Thank you councilors" The girls said in unison.

Luke watched the two girls leave and then turned
to his great nephew.

"Bail what did you think?"

"Me Master?" Bail said "I was very impressed.
But I think they exerted to much energy in
the beginning and that is why Beru couldn't
see that attack coming. And Shimi's attack was
a last attempt. She was tiring very quickly."

Luke smiled and turned to Yoda.

"Very true young Bail. Very good." Yoda said

Bail bowed "Thank you Masters"

Luke, Ben and Cliegg Skywalker
walked through the gardens
of the Jedi Temple.

"Grandfather?" 5 year old Cliegg asked

"Yes Cliegg" Luke replied

"What exactly occurred with
the Yuuhzan Vong? No one
except Master Yoda and you
know and father was only a
baby when it occurred.

"The Yuuhzan Vong were
an alien race who invaded our
galaxy with hostility. Many
heroes died in that war."

"Like Chewbacca and Anakin?? Cliegg asked

"Yes. As Im sure you learned in your studies
we tried to make peace with the yuuhzan vong
but it failed. And unfortunately we were
forced to attack. Jedi were the lead front
in the war. But we were soon hunted
by those we protected. All hope seemed lost.
Our capital planet was conquered. Our fleets
were decimated. We were barely surviving.
But things got better. General Wedge Antilles
started designing battle tactics and we attacked the
Yuuhzan Vong. We won a major battle. Then the
retired Admiral Ackbar designed a plan to
attack the Yuuhzan Vong and it worked.
But the real victory occurred when the yuuhzan
vong attacked the bothans."

"Who are they?" Cliegg asked

"The bothans were a race that helped
us out during the empire and after. Unfortunately
they were destroyed when the New Empire resurfaced
and they were destroyed.

The group continued to walk through the
garden as Luke spoke.

"At that battle we discovered the ship that
held your great grandparents and the jedi
of the old order. We then made some changes
in government and started to defeat the Yuuhzan
Vong...

A lone figure perched on the rooftop of the
Jedi Temple.

"I have him in my sites."

"...Vergere discovered that
the Yuuhzan Vong were genetic
mutations and she discovered an antidote.
We made a swift attack at..

"DAD LOOK OUT!" Ben shouted.

A blaster bolt shot past
Ben ignited his green blade.
And Luke force pushed Cliegg to the
ground. Luke swiveled around to face
the attacker and reached for his lightsaber.

interesting story, can't wait for more, poor old luke falls out of his chair, after being shot

 

Sounds like a great story Yodaminch!

(Must be tough for Luke and Yoda due to their age to have seen so many of their loved ones pass away.)

 

Forceaddict:yea poor luke
g.o.d.-Yes it is very hard. more so for luke.
But also take into account the immortal droids and their feelings.

 

Nice beginning, yodaminch. One question though, wanders through my mind. Where's Mara? As for the assassin, something leads me to consider a connection with a notorious bounty-hunting family. I think you know who I mean.

Chapter 2

The attack on Luke spread like wildfire
around the Temple. Chancellor Antilles
sent a platoon of Republic guards to patrol
the Temple and another four to guars
Luke's room. Ben and Yoda kept a silent
vigil outside Luke's room. Only Artoo
was allowed to stay in Luke's room.
The bolt that hit Luke was infected
and he was currently on an iv. Unfortunately
Luke's fall broke his right arm and he
had a concussion. It had been two days
since the attack. Yesh and Grask were
trying to find some evidence of who the
attacker was.
*******************************************
16 year old Syal Fel, granddaughter of Colonol
Jagged and Jaina Fel, walked
alongside her Master, Kayla Secura.
The team had been summoned
to appear before the council.
As soon as Syal walked in she
saw five empty council seats.
Her great uncle was still uncouncious.
and his attacker was at large.
Fuy Koon started the meeting.

"Master Secura, you and you padawan
have been assigned to investigate
the circumstances of Master Skywalker's
attack. Master Horn and his padawan will
be joining you. We may send more teams
depending on what we learn.
May the Force be with you."

Kayla bowed and the two left the chamber.

Once they were outside Kayla turned to
Syal.

"Would you like to take the long route to
our room?"

Syal knew what that meant. The long way involved
going through the med center.
Syal nodded her head.

"Lets go then" Kayla said

A lone sleek black ship emerged from
hyperspace over the large black planet.
The ship headed down to the planet.
Huge metal skyscrapers covered one
half off the planet. The other half was
covered with ruins from a battle long ago.
The ship dove downward through the
towering skycrapers and past the lower levels
until it found the surface. A large opening appeared
and the ship went inside the hole.
Three figures watched as the ship landed
in the dimly lit hangar.
The ramp slid down and a lone figure
clad in armor strode down.

"Did you kill the Jeedai Skywalker?" One figure asked

"I shot him alright. I don't know if it killed him.
The jedi were alerted and they are investigating. I need
to lie low." The pilot replied.

"You did very well my apprentice. You have
earned the title of Lord."

"What if Skywalker lives?" The third asked

"It does not matter. He will die soon enough.
The jedi know we have returned. That's all
we wanted anyways" The second replied.

Jedi Knight Kenneth Kenobi, grandson of the
late Obi-Wan Kenobi walked into the
Jedi Council Chamber.
Only Jedi Masters Yesh and Yoda occupied
the large room.

"You summoned me Masters?"

"Indeed we did" Yesh said

"It is time for you to pick a padawan learner" Yoda said

"Do you have any in mind?" Yesh asked

"Only one" Kenneth replied

"Who?" Yesh asked

"Young Bail Solo. He is extremely gifted
in the force and I feel I would be best suited
to train him"

Yoda glared at Yesh

"Very well Knight Kenobi. Your padawan Solo will
be" Yoda said

Chapter 3

Nejaa and Owen walked into the
control room. Kayla and Syal were
already there. Yesh and Grask were
explaining the mission. Yesh stopped
as he saw Nejaa enter.

"Greetings Master Horn. Late you are"

"Sorry Master" Nejaa replied

"As we were saying" Grask said

"The assassin left a crucial piece
of evidence behind. We believe
the assassin is on Correllia.
You will all leave tomorrow for
Correllia. Once there you will
pose as smugglers and look
for any who hate the jedi. You
must tread carefully however."

"We understand Master" Kayla bowed.

"You are dismissed" Grask said
*******************************************
Luke awoke with a pounding headache.
Luke spotted Artoo in a corner. Artoo seeing
Luke awake whistled wildly.

"Easy Artoo. I have a horrible headache."

Yoda, hearing all the noise walked in.

"Awake you are. Very good this is" Yoda said

"Hello Master. Could you send in my son?" Luke said

Yoda walked out and in a few minutes Ben walked in.

"Hello dad" Ben said quietly.

"Hello son. How's Cliegg?" Luke asked

"He's better. He was a little shook up"

"I see. Do we know who was behind the
attack?" Luke said

"No. We have some teams looking into it though"

Ben was in disress. Luke couldn't figure it out

"What's wrong?" Luke said

"Nothing" Ben said

Finally catching on Luke said

"When 100 years old you reach look as good you will
not"

Ben laughed at that. The he spoke

"I'll go get the healers. You need
a bacta dip for your arm."

"Artoo" Luke called

Artoo twilded.

"Go get the healers. I want to talk
longer with Ben"

Artoo rolled out of the room.

Yoda and Kenneth walked into
the training room.
Jasayn came over.
Kenneth watched as Bail
practiced with a training remote.

"He's very gifted. Most Masters are
afraid to train him" Jasayn said

"That's stupid mom and you know it.
I've made up my mind" Kenneth replied

"Im very proud of you" Jasayn said

She walked over to the center
and blew a whistle. The remotes
shut off and Bail extiungished his
saber.

Yoda walked over and Kenneth followed

"Padawn Solo"

Bail bowed "Master Yoda"

"Padawan Solo Knight Kenobi has chosen
you as his padawan."

Bail was speechless

"T-thank you Master" Bail said

Yoda smiled.

"Moved your personal items have been to
Master Kenobi's quarters. Leave you
alone I will"

As Yoda left, Kenneth spoke.

"I thought we might spend today
getting to know each other better.
Why don't you wash up get changed
and we will go out to eat."

Bail beemed.

Kenneth smiled "Come on I'll show
you to your new quaters."

 

I hate to send pms so ill just up this and if need be then ill pm.

 

Sorry I'm so late in replying. The last few scenes have been great. I'm wondering just what the Jedi will discover on Corellia, but something tells me it's not going to be good.

Nice to see that Luke's recovering. The bit with Artoo and the headache was certainly worth a momentary chuckle.

Well its been a month and no replies so I will up this with another chapter:

Chapter 4

Luke had finally been let out of the
healers ward.
He had retired to his room and had
summoned his grandson,niece and
nephew to his room.
Luke had See Threepio answer the door
as each child came in. The first to
arrive was Bail.

"Hello Bail" Luke said

"Hello Uncle. Why have you summoned
everyone. I wish to know what each of you
has been up to." Luke replied

He paused then added
"I understand you have been taken as a padawan
to Knight Kenneth"

Bail beemed and then said
"Yes. He is a good Master."

Luke smiled.
"I'm glad you were finally chosen.
I'm sure you will be a great Jedi Knight."

Bail blushed and lowered his head.

See Threepio walked in

"Master Owen is here."

"Thank you Threepio. What would I
do without you?" Luke replied

Artoo twidled something from
the other room.

"How rude. You stupid
trashcan" Threepio said

The group of jedi laughed
and then Luke turned to
Owen.

"I need to speak with
you and Syal alone."

Owen nodded.

Threepio walked in
muttering how artoo
was long overdue for a
memory wipe and then said

"Mistress Syal has arrived.

"Thank you Threepio. Would
you take Bail into
the main room for a few minutes.
And show Syal in."

"Of course Master Luke" Threepio replied

Once Syal, Owen and Luke were the
only ones in the room, Luke spoke.

"I understand you two will be investigating
my attack with Nejaa and Kayla."

"Yes we are grandfather" Owen replied

"Then heed my words. The Force is
clouded. The Darkside is involved in
this attack. You two must protect each
other. Be careful and follow the path
the Force has provided." Luke said

"We will Uncle" Syal said

Luke smiled at her. She
looked so much like her
grandmother.

"You two are dismissed."
**********************************
Yoda Yesh and Luke waited
at the hanger. Ben was saying
good bye to Owen.
Nejaa and Kayla were speaking
to Yoda.
Finally after everyone had said
their goodbye's the two Masters
and their padawans headed up the
ramp to their ship.The door
closed and the ship took off
towards Correllia.

"May the Force be with them" Yoda said.

Kenneth extinguished his saber
and reached his hand out to
his padawan. Bail accepted
the hand and Kenneth pulled
him off the mat.

"Very good Padawan.You
are very gifted with a saber."

"Yes he is" Luke said from the doorway.

"Master Skywalker your your." Kenneth stammered

"I'm walking." Luke said.

"Yes" Kenneth replied.

"I was to weak to see that
attack. No more. I will be able to
run and to sell that chair for scrap."

"But how?" Kenneth asked

"Age may affect how my limbs
work but the Force can be used
to heal. A few more healing
trances and I should be able to
run. I need to speak with you
Knight Kenobi"

"Bail go wash up and head to
the cafeteria for lunch" Kenneth said

"Yes Master" Bail said.

Luke watched Bail leave and
walked over to him.

"You are also quite good with
a lightsaber."

"Thank you Master" Kenneth said

"You have formed a strong bond
with Bail very quickly. You two
work well together." Luke said

"Thank you Master" Kenneth said

"That is why I have persuaded the
council to send you both on a mission." Luke said

Kenneth looked at him in shock
"Are you sure we are ready?"

"I am positive. Now you wash up
and eat and afterwards both
of you should report to the
council chamber."
**************************************
Nejaa, Bail,Kayla and Syal
exited the landing ramp.
The four jedi had come in
disguised as smugglers.

"Be careful. The Correllians
don't like jedi" Nejaa said

"We should investigate local
cantinas to start with." Kayla suggested

The four jedi made their way to the
nearest Cantina. A bouncer stood
in front of the door.

"No minors"

"I assure you sir both of these
minors are the legal drinking age.
Show them your id" Nej

 

LOL in regard to Owen ans Syal getting carded. Thankfully, I've never had to go through that humiliation.

Chapter 5

STAR WARS
EPISODE XV
THE HOPE FOR THE FUTURE

IT HAS BEEN ALMOST THREE MONTHS
SINCE THE ATTACK ON LUKE SKYWALKER.
THE JEDI COUNCIL HAS LOST CONTACT
WITH THE INVESTIGATION TEAM. FEARING
THAT SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED, SKWALKER
HAS DISPATCHED KENNETH KENOBI AND HIS
APPRENTICE, BAIL SOLO TO FIND THE MISSING
TEAM OF JEDI........

A lone ship emerged from hyperspace over the
planet Correllia

Kenneth and Bail listened to the minature hologram
of Luke.
"I am very concerned. This is not like them.
They haven't made contact since they arrived.
Be careful and re....ber..............to............
fo.........and......to..........."
The image of the Jedi Master vanished

"Master" Kenneth said.

"I can't get a signal" Bail said

"Well that explains why the team
can't contact us. Correllia is purposly
blocking our communications. We must
be cautious. Jedi have never been welcome
on Correllia." Kenneth said.

The cruiser touched down on the landing
pad. Kenneth secured his saber which
was hidden under deep rich blue robes
of a merchant. Bail was dressed in a red
tunic. His padawan braids were cut off.

The two jedi exited the ramp.

"Our first objective is to locate the
team. After that we will see" Kenneth said

Bail nodded.

Grask Windu landed hard on the mat
in the main training room of the Jedi
Temple. From the stands Masters
Yoda and Yesh watched the match
with great interest. Luke Skywalker
held out his right hand and held his
saber hilt in his left. Grask accepted
the hand and stood up.

"I'd say your back to prime fighting
Master" Grask said.

Yoda walked over to Luke.

"You seemed troubled during the
fight" Yoda commented.

"I was distracted" Luke answered.

"The situation on Correllia." Yoda said

"Yes. I know there is danger on Correllia.
I wish I knew what was happening." Luke answered.

"Why you have been training this is." Yoda asked

"Yes. I want to go to Correllia." Luke answered.

"To dangerous for you to leave it is. You it is
they want. Walking into a trap you could be." Yoda said

"I must go" Luke said

"Allow it I can not. Needed here you are" Yoda said

Continuation of Chapter 5

Kenneth and Bail walked through the crowed capital
searching in every open establishment and on the streets
for the team of missing jedi. Finally night had fallen.
"Where do we go now Master?" Bail asked

Kenneth sighed. "We go back to the ship."

The two jedi headed toward the busy spaceport.

"We will try to get a message to Masters Skywalker, before we
go to sleep." Kenneth said.

The Spaceport was coming into view now. The ship lay in its berth,

"DOWN!" Kenneth shouted as his danger sense flared.

He grabbed Bail and pulled him to the ground.

The Jedi's ship exploded and bits of metal rained down in the space port.
Personal ran out and pilots made sure everyone was okay. The spaceport
was in a bustle and no one noticed as an armor clad man strode out of the
spaceport.

Luke and Ben Skywalker sat in Temple restaurant.

"Master Yoda told me what you wanted to do" Ben said after
they handed their menus to the waiter.

"Its been three months since we sent them there and now with the
communication problem with Kenneth, we know someone is aware of our
presence." Luke replied

"We don't know that. Correllia could be experiencing technical difficulties." Ben said

"We sent Valin there to communicate with the Correllian knights and he couldn't contact
one. If this is a communications problem, it should have been fixed long ago." Luke said

Suddenly Luke's saber was in hand as his danger sense flared. Likewise Ben had his saber out.
An explosion hit the Jedi Temple knocking patrons to the floor. Luke managed to remain standing
as did Ben. Ben got his commlink out and ordered healers and knights to the site of the explosion.
Luke called for a lockdown on the Temple and an immediate meeting of the full council.

"Excellent everything has gone as planned" A hooded figure said

"Those Jeedai will pay" Another cloaked figure replied.

"Sing managed to hit the jedi on Correllia" a third hooded figure said.

"Excellent. Send Lord Sing to Zonama Sekot to deal with our jedi problem." The first replied

"Surely the Chancellor will send the planet to a safe location. Two attacks in four months
on the jeedai is more than enough to make the Senate and military push for a move" The second figure said

"You are correct Lah it could be a problem except for the fact that Durge is currently on Zonama Sekot. Sing
will have no trouble finding it."

"As you wish Lord Vader" Lah replied.

Well, this certainly has taken an intyersting twist. Vader, the Vong, and a son of Aurra Sing, maybe? Oh, and to top things off, a Zam Wessel styke assasination attempt. The Jedi will have their hands full.

I've wrote myself into a wall and found only one way to fix this-All the Solos minus Han and Chewie are now alive.

 

Chapter 6

Yoda walked briskly through the council doors.
Yesh followed at the same pace.

"What happened?" Yoda demanded

"We are currently trying to figure it out Master." Tahiri Veila said

"All we know is that a bomb went off in the visitor's entrance of
the Temple" A'shared Hett said

"We have sent healers to the entrance" Anakin Solo said

The Doors opened again and Luke strode in followed by Ben
and Artoo.

Yesh spoke
"Do we know if this attack is related to the attack 3 months
ago?"

"Not at this time" Grask said.

"We have another problem" The Holo of Jacen Solo said

"What is that?" Ben asked.

"Correllia reports an explosion at their spaceports" Jacen replied

Klaxons blared and fires spread.
Kenneth started to get up. He looked
over for Bail and saw that he was alright
and getting up himself.

"What now Master?" Bail asked

"We find a place to stay, We have more than
enough credits. Keep your hand on your
saber and follow me. Tomorrow we will
investigate this attack."

Bail quickly followed Kenneth down the busy street.
Kenneth turned into a hotel called. Hotel Horn
An older man with a gotee approached Kenneth.

"How might I help you?" the man asked

"I'm looking for a room for the night" Kenneth said

"Follow me" The man replied.

Kenneth followed the man up the stairs. They
headed to an old turbolift. Bail counted the floors
15, 16, 17... The lift halted at 18. The man walked
out and Kenneth followed. The passed 5 doors before
the man stopped.

"Here we are room 1867"

"Thank you" Kenneth said handing the man a few credits.

Kenneth opened the door and Bail followed. Kenneth turned
to speak.

"I will be back. Lock the door."

Kenneth turned and left. Bail undressed and went to the bed.
He fell asleep soon after, the days events taking their toll
on him.

Kenneth closed the door and turned to the man.

"Kenneth how are you?" The man asked

"Not good Valin. Not good. I need an audience
with the others." Kenneth replied.

"Of course. Follow me."

The man called Vader turned activated the holo.
The image of bounty hunter Dengar Sing appeared.

"My Lord" Dengar said

"You have done well Lord Sing. Do you know the

Vader closed the communications. The name "Vader" always
struck fear into the Rebels. It was only fitting then for the new
Sith Lord to choose a name that would show how dangerous
he was. Soon the Jedi and the Rebels would learn exactly
why to fear Vader.

Chapter 7

Kenneth followed Valen down many passageways until
finally they had made it to the steel door. Valin
held his hand up to a keypad and waited for his hand to
be scanned. The door slid aside and Valin entered.
Kenneth followed. The room was huge. A row
of chairs lined the front. 11 men sat in those chairs.
Valin sat down in a middle chair.
Kenneth stayed in the circle.

"Your a long way from home Knigh Kenobi" Corran Horn said

"What has brought you this far?" Jaina Solo Fel asked.

"Four Jedi have gone missing. I and my padawan were
sent to find them. Our ship has been destroyed. I had
hoped you had information for me." Kenneth said

The other knights spoke with each other.

Finis Bel Ibis spoke
"The Correllian Jedi have not seen your four missing jedi."

"However, Our communications have been down" Wes Antilles said

"We will assist you in any way possible" Valin said

"Thank you Masters" Kenneth replied

"We will speak again in the morning. It is getting late" Corran said.

Yoda watched as teams of Jedi inspected ground zero.
15 tourists dead. 30 Jedi wounded. 44 tourists wounded.
Ben and the others were keeping reporters away.
Luke and Yesh were at the Chancellor's , learning
about developments on Correllia.
Yoda walked over to the reporters.

"A statement the Temple wishes to make"

Microphones and lights flashed on Yoda

"Regret we do the loss of life today. Our sympthies
to the families of the dead we give. Planned this attack
was. Investigating we are. Find and prosecuted these
attackers will be" Yoda said

Bail awoke to see Kenneth by the window meditating.
Bail knew better to wake his Master. He pulled down the covers
and sat down beside Kenneth and meditated.
A knock at the door startled Bail out of his meditation.
Kenneth was getting up to answer the door. The same
man Bail had seen last night was there.

"Hello Valin" Kenneth said

"The Council will see you both in an hour" Valin said

"We'll be ready" Kenneth said.

"Here are some more robes" Valin said indicating the
piles of laundry on his cart."

"Thank you. Is there any way we can make contact
to the Temple?" Kenneth asked

"No unfortunately. We've tried everything" Valin said

"Alright thank you" Kenneth said.

Kenneth closed the door and faced a very
confused Bail.

"That was a member of the Correllian Jedi.
Go to the fresher. And get changed." Kenneth said

He tossed Bail new robes.

"Yes Master" Bail said

"I am sorry Masters but I can't raise Correllia" Mon Antilles said

"Something is wrong. Where is the Correllian Senator?" Luke asked.

"He returned to Correllia three months ago. We haven't from him" Mon said

"Send a team of Jedi and Republic troops to Correllia we must" Yesh said

"Unfortunately we can't. The Senate has demanded envoys to other planets" Mon replied

"The Darkside is growing. And Correllia is not the source. The Senate is
right. We must find the source" Luke said.
