that's cool, so how was your day?

 

Pretty nice... went to lunch at an Indian buffet with hubby... did some shopping, came home and relaxed a bit.

Unfortunately, he had an accident and really hurt his arm. We think it's just soft tissue damage, but he hasn't yet ruled out the possibility of a fracture. If he wakes up tomorrow and it's swollen, we'll go to the hospital.

 

Ouch. I hope he gets better.

To be honest? Drama. Seen Communications, lately? Well, I just did some Mod Squad catching up and all I can do is *sigh*.

yeah i've been watching that thread in communications. GriffZ and Sapient were two of the very best mods in my opinion. but i can understand if they'd just had enough.

you probably have all the gossip, but you probably can't share

 

No gossip, really, just unfortunate to lose them...

 

yeah that's really what i've been thinking. first farraday, now these two... seems like all of my favorite mods are stepping down...

or they're locked in the BB house

There's been so many times that I've thought of leaving.... But then I remember how frustrated I was as a member when someone trolled or something and no mod was around. I like being able to do something about it. I would easily take a pass to drama, but I think the pros of helping outway those cons.

Of course, it's somehow part of a big Refuge conspiracy, but whatever. Everyone's wrong. We're not conspiring to take over the JC, it's more like taking over the world.

If we wanted to take over the JC, CA and Vert wouldn't have resigned as Admins.


I do hope to keep in close touch with the mods that are now leaving

 

yeah, i really hope they don't leave the JC altogether. they're some of the funniest, wittiest, most intelligent posters around. plus they really care about this place. we need more members like them, even if they aren't mods anymore.

 

Ah yeah... I was just off reading the entire thread by Carosel. This has really come as a surpise.

Actually, I don't blame them for stepping down for whatever reason. Moderarting on these boards must be tough. I don't think I could handle it.

Edit: I never talked with them... but they both seemed to be very kind and funny people.

So, how is everyone tonight? I just got back from seeing The Road to Perdition. I really enjoyed it. Anyone else seen it yet?
