Sorry to hear about the headache.

I'm good. I got off of work at 6, so that was good. Also, being off tonight is very good.

I feel like I should have plans but I don't really. I need to get my car checked over before I drive to Vegas at the end of the week. Maybe I should do that.

That sounds like a good idea.

Are you going to Vegas for business or pleasure?

    Little bit of both.

I'm visiting a friend and I'm dropping something off for some clients.

Well, I'm only 20 so no. Most of my other underage friends get away with it, but I've got a baby face. I still get carded at R rated movies. One time the manager accused me of using a fake ID. Now why on earth would I pay to have a fake ID that didn't say I was 21? Moron.

Well, sorry that you can't gamble away hundreds of dollars. What a pity :p

I try not to gamble. Whenever I start losing I throw more money on the table to get my old money back. This is never a good idea. It's a never ending cycle. And those slots are even worse. They make them into videogames. How can I resist that?

Word of advice for those reading this:

Set a limit, tell your friends what it is, stick to it. If you win at a game, leave.

Well, have fun. I'm off to bed. I'll be back around sometime this afternoon. Check out the hideout and tell me what you think about what I posted about that thing that we have going. You know the one that I'm talking about. Yes, that one.

    Goodnight! :D

    Oh the thiiiiiing....riiiiiiight...*wink, wink*

Yeah, I've been gambling at the indian casino near a friend's house. I lost $7. There's not much addiction in it for me. If I have a couple bucks, I do it. If not, I don't. Not a big deal at all really.

    Sleep well!

    LOL.

    Now where were we...

Oh right. MTV clips. You know, there's a Dutch variant of MTV called TMF, which I have on right now as a bit of musical wallpaper -- and it played Kylie's "It's In Your Eyes" song, and "Na Na Na" twice.

Now I know the clips! She's driving a car!

    yikes! i'm sorry ;)

you know, i haven't watched mtv in so long that i have no idea what's even popular here anymore. i'd be willing to bet that they play kylie quite a bit though.

Oh, same here, you know. I haven't got a clue what 14-year-olds like. When grunge was hot, I used to know every B-side. And obscure tracks like "Hunger Strike", that I loved.

The past months, I sporadically teached a high school class, and they let me hear stuff that was just other-worldly to me. I know Eminem, but there were thousands like that.

yeah, i think when grunge was in was the last time i was in tune with popular music as well. of course, i live in the hotbed of grunge so i was into it way before it became "the thing". in fact the popularity of it kind of ruined it for me. i do still like nirvana and our local heroes the screaming trees though... ooh and mudhoney, and actually probably a few others :D
