I have questions since I didn't take part in making that Hoth diorama. Was there an additional cost to join in, and did the organizers supply all the action figures used in that or did people have to use their own? Also did previous Celebrations have dioramas but with different themes?

I think its volunteer. I was ask by a few of its Organizers at the 501st party on Friday to help build on Saturday night, it was fun to do. Heres what I built:

Celebration IV had an Endor diorama for people to help build. I believe that if you volunteered and completed a project (like building a tree) you got a t-shirt.

At Celebration II or CIII there was also a room-sized Mos Eisley diorama in progress.
