My Legions of Terror are psychic amorphous shapeshifting blobs that melt and turn to steam when you shoot them, so I don't think there'll be any trouble telling them apart... But that does beg a question. Does this scene ever happen?

Hero: You'll never take over the US, evildoer!

    Badguy: Excuse me?

Hero: I said, you'll never take over the US.

Badguy: We're not trying to take over the US. That's Dr. Dementor's crew.

    Hero: What?

Badguy: You're looking for the guys who are trying to take over the United States with the Stereophonic Plasma Mind Control Ray, right? That's Dr. Dementor's guys. We work for The Sinister Scrivener. We're trying to ransom the Queen of England for one hundred billion dollars.

    Hero: Oh...Oh, geez, I'm sorry...

    Badguy: hey, no problem...

    Hero: I'm so embarrassed...

    Badguy: Happens all the time.

Hero: It's just that all you guys dress alike...

Badguy: Well, yeah, but basic black is soooo cool. That's why you gotta pay attention to the details: insignia, patches, logos... See this?

Hero: hey, a viper surrounding the world. That's pretty cool.

Badguy: You think so? I designed it...

    Hero: Get out! Really?

Badguy: Yeah, I only do the henchman thing in order to work my way to a masters degree in Visual Communications.

Hero: Well, you've certianly got some talent there...

Badguy: Thanks. Hey, look, you gotta find Dementor's guys, you go down four blocks, take a left on Bleekly, head all the way down to the Krispy Kreme and go right, down a block and left again... you ought to find 'em in that abandoned warehouse.

Hero: Hey, thanks. I appreciate that.

Badguy: No problem. Take it easy, guy!

Hero: You too... Good luck with that Masters degree thing...

I kid you not, Rosie, my dear. Don Novello, better known to the world as 'Father Guido Sarducci', is one of the over *two hundred* people registered to run in the recall election.

I just hope that if he gets elected, he'll wear the outfit.

I mean, this thing in California is WAY better than anything that Pat Paulsen ever did...

As far as the California thing goes... I'm just going to chalk it up to there being something in the water.

    Or the air.

*mutters* Silly folks, all of them...

Well Technoviper, you can go back to supporting Ahhnold, becasue Don Novello does not appear on the Certified List of Candidates per CNN. Certified Candidate List This means that either Mr. Novello didn't submit the filing fee or obtain the necessary signatures of registered voters. Prepare for the G1:Rise of the Governor!

Yeah, I saw on the news that there was a problem with the number of signatures he turned in:

A third candidate, Don Novello of San Anselmo, a comedian known for his portrayal of the character Father Guido Sarducci on NBC's Saturday Night Live, filed the paperwork but failed to get enough valid signatures to qualify, according to county officials.

Novello, 60, said he does not consider himself out of the race yet.

"I can't tell you how disappointed I am," he said. "I paid the money, I turned in the signatures, I'm not going to consider it official yet - I'm still in it."

Is this SO much better than Survivor, or what?

I just met Ray Park this past weekend. He was very friendly and got quite a kick out of my FanForce shirt!

Ray Park is one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Very kind and polite. He really seems to respect the fans. And that's always nice.

And I can totally understand why certain members of this club are completely into him. He is just not bad to look at, either! [face_love]

I think he's going to be having a hard time in this weather, though. When I talked with him at GenCon in Indianapolis, it was maybe a high of 70 and no humidity. He was complaining about how incredibly hot it was! (Granted, the man was raised in Scotland. It just doesn't get that hot there.)

I suggested to him that Gatorade will be his friend if he works out while in Atlanta.

    [face_very_hopeful] Kilt?

    *faints*

    ;) :p

In other news, Barbie looks very PINK, but I can't decide if I actually will wear it in the costume contest... there's no "Humor" category this year :(

And I've been making lots of little colorful X-Wings...

There's no humor section in the SW Costume Contest? How very odd.

Either way, you HAVE to wear that costume somewhere! You worked way to hard on it and it's really too cute.

Don't wimp out on us, now!

I, uh, study all the time... yeah, that's it... [face_blush]

:p Actually, I haven't had much homework yet. PLus on Wednesdays my only class is a 9:00, so I'm free for the rest of the day. :D

I'm definately wearing Barbie Saturday evening... just dunno if it'll be in the contest. I'll have to talk to the MOTF folks about where I'd fit in. :p

I keep meaning to stop in but keep forgetting :)
I know very little about politics but was an Air Force wife for 10 years. I am of a mind that we should go in do the job, set up relief and get out. Quick and with as little death and destruction as possible.

    On movies:
I actually looked into Netflix a few months ago and got vetoed by my hubbie. I am a movie nut. I tend to like 'popcorn' movies and silly romance. My top ten favorites of all time excluding the obvious ;)
    In no particular order...
    1. Ever After
    2. Fellowship of the Rings
    3. Willow
    4. My Cousin Vinny
    5. Sixth Sense
    6. Trainspotting
    7. Moonstruck
    8. Overboard
    9. Back to the Future
    10. Steel Magnolias

These are the movies I pop in when I am feeling low.
On a side note it may be interesting to know I have a strange SW disorder. I am a SW narcoleptic. You can turn on any of the films and within 20 min. I am snoring. Don't get me wrong...I am a huge crazed obsessed fan. I guess it is like soul food or something. I just get so relaxed I fall asleep :)

    I love Steve Martin's movies.

I know that I have probably forgotten many movies that I love, but it is hard to list them all.
