The hub city welcome party thread!

I was at the airport in August 1993 ...

 

Hmmm...I think the last time I was in Toronto was...when I was six years old. The only reason I was there is because my uncle was getting married to his first wife.

 

I live about 30 minutes west of Toronto...

 

I have an uncle in a Toronto suburb. And an aunt and two cousins, for that matter.

 

I got friends & relatives in T.O.

 

Well if you ever come out this way I will take you around and we can hang out..

 

That would be cool

 

It would be nice to have you 2 over here for a visit

 

I don't when we'd make out there, maybe if I got a job out there

 

Well I am hoping that Lynora and I will get out there soon...

 

Why?

 

Well we have not seen the east coast and I was waiting to buy a new SUV before planning
to take a drive and I bought a SUV this year


The problem now is being able to take off a
week to do the trip...

 

I see, need a break from the big city as well?

 

Lynora and I were going to come down this fall but I do not think that it is going to happen...

What about this summer?

 

Well I am putting in central air in the house and finishing off my pond. On top of the Jango Fett costume and all the toys, it
is going to be an expensive year...

I need more vacation time and more money
doesnt everyone...

 

Yeah, we all need more vacation time and a hell of a lot more money.

Hear hear! When I walked home from school, there was ice forming on my glasses!

 

ha! when I walked to the school yesterday morning, after I had showered and only had time to partially blow dry my hair, the wind decided to sweep my hair upwards and freeze there! I looked pretty pathetic by the time I got to class! (and like I said, I only have to walk 550 ft to school!)

 

Hopefully this nasty cold weather will ne dsoon and we will go back milder weather...
