So . . . how 'bout them books?
Still re-reading all the HP books...
I'm procrastinating and in a chatty mood Anyone do anything fun lately? Read a good book? Procrastinate on studying for an exam or AP?
Wait, wait, wait...
SFFBC has a social thread?
Nat, why didn't you inform me of this?
*goes into shock*
Sorry, hon! It fell into disuse, but I figure I'd try to find some chatty people in here
Well, them, how about the chatty people who wander in here give me a list of books to read while I recover from getting my wisdom teeth out -- since I've already watched all LotR extended edition movies, the entire 1st new series of Doctor who and plowed my way through three novels. I need something to do!
I am thinking about reading Larry Niven's Ringworld series. I've read the first two, but never got around to the third and fourth.
Ow!! I'm sending mental hugs and milkshakes your way
Anything by Anne Bishop (start with the Black Jewels series)
Sharon Shinne Archangel and Mystic and Rider (start of two really good series)
I'll try to think of more, but those will give you a couple dozen-ish books
OK NYCitygurl is out studying so it's up to us to keep this thread active. How is everyone?
It's been ages since I visited this thread. Anyway, I am very well and adore this sunny weather we have here in England. Also, I'm trying to finish Gregory Maguire's Son of a Witch before I start Scott Lynch's second book about Locke Lamora.
I've heard it's been pretty warm in the UK lately...
Next time, someone gets to take APs for me
I wasn't that into (read: didn't really like) Wicked (the book - the play was great) so I started that but only got a few pages in.
I tried to keep this thread active for you...
