Now that's going out on a limb. I can't see it happening, but I'll gladly pull for it!

well, except for a 13-men on the field penalty, you would have been right about that Tennessee-LSU game. Crazy finish.

Yeah, almost got that one. I just felt like LSU could have been had in this game.

Yeah, you were right. Tennessee's gotta be kicking themselves right now over that penalty.

You pretty much totally called Golden State beating Dallas in the playoffs a few years ago.

I called UCLA beating USC in the final regular season game a few years ago, which kept USC from playing for the national title.

And, not that one has to be a genius to do this, but I totally called Brett Favre throwing crippling interceptions that would cost his team the game in his past two NFC Championships.

The beautiful UCLA USC game of which you speak was 2006.

    This Friday.

    Idaho over Boise State.

(or at least within 21 points ... I want to pick the upset outright, but I'm not quite that confident)

Within 21 points? That's counting as an upset now?

In that game it might well qualify :p

Not even I would call that one.

I don't want to see that happen anyway and have it destroy my dreams of seeing Boise and TCU go #1 and #2 in the BCS and both have the balls to accept invites to the Holiday Bowl, while telling the BCS to shove the Championship Game up their collective asses!

I want to know who predicted the Panthers to lose 15 games (which they probably will) :p

Now, was that an exact number, or a minimum number, Tunick? :p

49ers over the Chargers tomorrow night. Gut feeling, no data to support it.

For some reason a Seahawks win on Saturday wouldn't shock me.

    A) The Seahawks will keep it close.
    B) The Packers beat the Eagles 27-10.
    C) The Jets/Colts game will be low-scoring.
    D) The Chiefs will hold a lead for most of the game, and give up a TD and a FG in the 4th to lose the game.

Good lord, I hope not. Two of the worst(perhaps the two worst) losses in franchise history are by that score; Super Bowl XV to the Raiders and the 2002 NFC Championship to the Bucs.

To be fair, that's the score they beat the Falcons by in the 2004 NFC Championship Game, but they didn't win the Super Bowl, so it doesn't help all that much :p
