    I have nothing against fantasy sports. In fact I think they are great alternative way to be a fan. However, when I talk to someone about a home team loss, sometimes I get the response "well at least my fantasy team won." Well newsflash buddy, I don't care.

    It's like this in media too. Radio DJs, sports talk radio hosts, and even the occasional TV commentator(Tony "Hey I Have Him in Fantasy!" Kornheiser) want you to know how their fantasy team is doing.

    What is the deal? I just don't get it. I play fantasy football, but I know that no one cares about my team, so I don't bring it up. I wish others did the same.

    I destroyed everyone in the JCC in the Fantasy Premier League competition we had for the 2005/2006 season. I rule.

    Because fantasy teams confirm just how awesome our judgement relating to our chosen sports are :p

    I always find it a bit amusing that a lot of these people who play this fantasy stuff once made fun of people who play D&D. :p

    Yes, but there are no 20-sided die or level 64 mages in fantasy football. :p

    I always get annoyed at the people who taunt you early in the week that your favorite team is going to get killed by their favorite team. Then when your favorite team blows them out, they say, "yeah, but at least I had so-and-so on my fantasy team!"

    The Seahakws lost to the Niners [face_tired] . But at least I had Anquan Bolden and Aaron Rodgers.

    See it feels great if its in your advantage.

    What do you call LaDanian Tomlinson?

    A level 64 warrior. Mage would be more equivalent to a QB, say Peyton Manning or Tom Brady (except for this year, at least)

    Fantasy teams are like betting but without the money. They aren't role playing games. 8-}

    I have a slightly amusing anecdote about my fantasy team in my family league.

    Last week I was matched up against my brother-in-law. During the week, in an attempt at gamesmanship or trash-talking, he changed the name of his team to ROB=INTERNETMANWHORE (Rob being me, obviously).

    I beat him by 40 points. :D
