    I can almost see Mr. Burns somewhere saying "Eeeeexcellent, Smithers! Just as temperatures drop and demand skyrockets, we'll have them just where we want them!"

    Fortunately, I have electric space heaters, and our apartment complex provides free wood for our fireplaces. That and I live on the top floor so I get sunlight plus heat-bleed from the lower floors.
