Great post! Keep up the good work. Can't wat to see more of it. I've been reading this at ff.net, but i have to say it took long enough to get this next chapter up. As for the other green flame, my bets are on either Zekk or Tenel Ka.

Jaina stalked around Danni mercilessly, playing cat and mouse. The red of Danni?s lightsaber seemed to accent Jaina?s feral features.

?You?re gonna die now. You lied, cheated, joined the FREAKIN? ENEMY, but most importantly of all, you almost killed my brother.? Jaina growled.

?Ha. Jacen Solo, that bleeding heart. He deserved it." Danni boasted.

Jaina jabbed the saber forward. "My name is Jaina Solo-Fel. You almost killed my brother. Prepare to die."

Then, Danni had a lightsaber in her hand. Jaina saw a small shuffle from behind Danni, and realized that she had been handed a saber.

Danni quickly ignited the saber, a blazing purple one.

Jaina recognized that saber. It was Anakin's. She attacked.

The overhead swing came at her. Time slowed down. Sidestep, strike. Slash. Then, another saber. Was Jacen back up so soon? No. Jaina had a second saber. A bronze saber. Where had she gotten that? It didn't matter. Jaina was a flurry of movements, attacking her mercilessly.

Jaina would definitely win the fight. She grinned her feral grin again. She jumped over Danni's head, but Danni brought Anakin's saber back defensively. It made a thwack! noise as it cut through bone and skin, almost severing the arm.

Danni seized the opportunity, of Jaina's surprise and pain, to wildly lash out at her. To Danni's surprise, Jaina blocked easily. That?s when she looked into Jaina's eyes.

The lightsabers were sparkling bright in the dimness of the room. But the brightest things of all were Jaina's eyes.

Jaina's eyes were on fire. The flames licked upwards, almost like they were singing her hair. But they weren't.

Jaina reached her arm out slowly, and made a snapping noise.

Suddenly, Jacen sat straight up, and let out a shrill scream, the exact pitch Danni was making. Then, Danni slumped to the ground.

"JAINA! WHAT THE KRIFF DID YOU JUST DO?" Jacen bellowed.

"Shh not so loud. We're deep in lair of the enemy. But?I used the darkside. I have a little bit of control over it. I transferred most of Danni's life energy to you. Now I can finish her off easily." Jaina whispered.

"No." Jacen said firmly, placing himself between Jaina and Danni's limp form.

"And why not?" Jaina inquired defensively.

"Because it's still wrong!"

"Look at what she did to us, to you, to everybody. Please." Jaina pleaded sadly.

"And look at what we did to her. We shoved her aside. We let her down. Maybe it's our fault?Please Jaya" he pleaded.

"No. She dies. Now. Tonight. Not later. Now" she replied with a fresh burst of anger.

"Are you sure you want that, sis?" he asked, eyes down on the ground.

"Positive" she replied angrily.

"Then I guess I'll have to stop you." Jacen replied sadly, calling Anakin's lightsaber to hand.

Loved the Princess Bride quote by the way I love that movie!

 

Wow. That was awesome! You go girl! Kill her, kill her! I'm sorry but I'm up for some Danni killing!

 

Ooooh. The Twin Sacrifice! A thousand credits on Jaina!

 

Wow! Awesome fight scene. Hmmm, hopefully they can resolve this without more bloodshed.

Great post! I'm hopping that neither twin dies, though i'm thinking that i'm seeing the vision playing into the plot more thickly here. *ponder* we shall see. As yoda said "Always in motion the future is." so i may be wrong. Great use of the Princess Bride quote loved that!
