The topic says it all. I'm currently trying to write a 50 page engineering report and listening to Garbage. I have a stack of group assignments due this week and as usually I'm the only member of my group that has done anything. Anyone else insanely bored?

I am telling myself that 11pm is late enough for a Sunday night when I have to work Monday. REsisting the urge to do some drawing. I got myself a cheap artists wooden drawing figure yesterday. And revising all manner of interesting things that happened today.

    Basically doing nought!!

Oh and listening to loud snoring.

    Bed time shortly .

    CRAP I SHOULD BE IRONING!

Lucky you, I got to get the report done before I head to bed. I don't know why I've been so tired recently, I've been sleeping around 15hrs a day, and that isn't normal... Anyone got any miricle cures for vertigo?

There's something going around Lozza. I seriously know of about 6 people this week who've been REALLY tired for no reason, with few other symtoms..including me.

I tried the lots of water cure today which helpeda little. Dehydration is a scary thing.

And I took the quilt off my bed to stop overheating.

Original salted Thins potato chips always helps my vertigo, or a crumbed sausage. Not sure why :)

Posting gushes about Firefly in the wrong threads :p

Other than that, just browsing my regular web haunts and listening to Winamp on random. Nothing particularly profound or exciting.

BBN if I had nothing else to do I would be gaming... I really would like to game right now... Mind you with the room spinning at the moment I'm not too sure how well I would play.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I just got my second gig of RAM delivered the other day, so I'm all set for the ridiculous number of awesome games coming out in the next couple of months. It's a great time to be a PC gamer.

I've been chilling out catching up with two school friends I haven't spoken to in literally ten years. That is something I never dreamt I'd spend a Sunday night doing.

Oooh, yes... I'm not a huge RPG player, generally, but I read a big long hands-on article about Oblivion the other day and it sounds very VERY awesome.

Heh, yes, Atomic. Love that mag. :p Yeah, I wansn't too fussed previously, but after reading that article, I'm very interested indeed, it sounds fantastic. I haven't played Morrowind or any of the others, but hopefully it won't be too intimidating...

11:57pm and I'm about to read some more NJO The Unifying Force, guess I can fit in a half-hours worth, otherwise I'll never get these back to the library.

the menu layout and controls are going to be radically different from Morrowind, but if you are interested I can lend you my copy of the game. I think it is also in the bargin bin at the mo. It is a little dated now, but I would still recommend it to everyone as it has a very decent storyline.

The funny thing is I had no idea about it. I left the computer doing a download with MS Messenger running the background while I took off for work. I got home to find a request for some random name wanting to be added to my contacts list and curiousity got the better of me. I'll see what comes of it as time unfolds. :)

Until a couple of hours ago I was trying to write a mockumentary script while listening to Morrissey- a bad idea, as I can't focus on writing when music's playing, but can't pay enough attention to the music when I need to write. Still, it's a laugh, innit?

I've been planning to go to bed for two hours, but Wikipedia has been keeping me up. I've just learned about several things I really don't need to know, including the wonderful world of post-Flemming James Bond fiction and the recently launched "Young Bond" kids' series, neither of which I will ever read. I've also done a little research on Casino Royale, and have a sudden urge to read the book. In fact, I'll start right now!

Incidentally, somebody really needs to give Morrissey a hug.

I was within nanoseconds of clicking "deny request". I still don't know what made me not do it, 'cause I normally do decline contact requests on most messaging software.

*shrug* evidently your school years were happier than mine...
I've been wondering about that recently, am I the only one who really hated high school???

Actually, no. I hated my school years with a passion too. The only good time I had between 1991 and 1995 was the three weeks I spent in New Caledonia with my Grade 10 French class. Coincidentally, the two pals I chatted with were both in that class.

Well there you go at least your friends ended up in your class. I remember every group assignment I had in high school and with the exception of one in grade 8 and one in grade 10 (for which I used all my powers of negotiation so I could work with a friend in another class to do), all the others I had to do by myself because the teacher refused to force another group to take me.

I should have been clear about this - I perhaps used the wrong terms. I was very much on the outside looking in as far as the little cliques were concerned at high school, and even primary school. The only time I was ever in the cool group was when I was living in Townsville in 1985 - I was in second grade.

In fact, it wasn't until my senior year I gained some modicum of acceptance in any circles at school. Gawd I hated the place.
