    *swoons*

I'm so excited you posted that. I want Imperial Knight armor, and now I've got people who could probably help me make it in the RMFF, so I needed something visible to show them. That is perfect!

Perfect indeed. I'll be offering Imperial cookie points for such pictures, indeed.

So, has anyone read Legacy #27 yet? I haven't, and I'm dying too.

Hey! I have to take a train to get Legacy! But I haven't brought a comic since... Vector part 5? So I'm waaay behind.

At least you can go to a place that has them. I tried an hour-long drive to the nearest comic store once, and they didn't even know that there was such a thing as a Star Wars comic.

Ouch. That must have stung some. Ouch indeed.

So, thoughts on an 100 ABY RP-training game concept?

    Hint, hint. :p

How long of a train ride? I'm pretty sure I'd have to go an hour and a half to a comic store.

I'm going to be driving that far to ride, it looks like so maybe I can kill two birds with one stone.

Half an hour, to be honest. And then a twenty minute walk from the station to the store. So... not un-doable, but time-consuming.

Li, allow me to modify what I posted in the Hidden Orders FC..

The concept is that after the Second Galactic Civil War, the other governments of the Galaxy realise the worth of Force users, creating their own groups, or co-opting existing ones. The Empire obviously takes us on, and provides us with a basic amount of vessels.

For example, each group would have access to one Destroyer-type, one Frigate-type, one Scout-type, and one Fighter-type, with some governments providing additional Force User-specialised fighters.

With us we'd have access to...

    1. Pellaeon-class SD's - Council Masters
    2. Imperial Fast Frigates - Masters
    3. Imperial shuttles - Knights
    4. Predator-class fighters - Apprentices
    5. No additional fighter provided by the Empire for IK's - All

Only the Masters or perhaps the Emperor would have easy access to 1, etc. The idea is, if we choose to move from a training-RPG, we're able to leap into a full-blown RPG with the vessel points. So it's designed to be a slow-paced RPG, and then speed up when and if we choose to.

    Thoughts?

Oh, and the Force system would be based on the Tournaments, with apprentices becoming Knights when they learn all the powers of their type with additional tests, with points given for completed objectives by their Masters.

It's a sandbox game. Just run subplots by the main GM, who approves lazily, and we move along. Thoughts?

Any specific reason we'd be getting ships? As I think it'd be best to focus on the Force, or on the strategic combat, as one or the other, rather than trying to juggle both. Especially if we're to use this for training. We could speed it up, but that would rather put an end to its use for training.

It's just something for groups to play around with, mostly. I doubt we'll touch upon it, but I wanted to throw in the potential for things to expand.

As it's a Cold War, the focus would be upon spying, assassinations, asset deprivation et al, true. We could limit it to fighters and transports, so we don't get some incredibly complex transports floating around...?

We could just have in the background that these are your respective governments ships, assumedly. I was just throwing something in for the Masters to play around with, mostly.

I think a training RPG would be cool.

but alot of what I'm into might make that a little harder. Seeming as I'm posting here there and everywhere. LOL

I might limit it so people may only have two characters, to keep down complications.

This sounds good and it would help my training here, but unfortunately, in two weeks time I will not have as much as free time online as I have now, so no RPG, at least not a full-scale one.
    :(

    You guys have fun. :)

It can be a nuisance, yes. But as Legacy #27 showed, knowledge *is* power.

I don't think anyone has taken me on yet. So what title do i attain at this point? If so where do I fit with the ships. Personally I think it's the pilot who makes it, I suck at piloting so...
