*force lightning strikes Tarkin*

 

Me : "Uh, your Majesty, I was sorta under the influence so I don't really count."

Tarkins hair catches on fire, he dives out a nearby window

Palpaine :"SILENCE INSOLENT FOOLS! HAND OVER THE SPOON!"

 

SOHLIN: I've a mind to place every last one of you under arrest as it is, including you, Lord Vader.

Directs the Imperial Marshals stand guard until further notice.

SOHLIN: The first person who breaks the peace in here leaves in cuffs and will sit in Lusankya, and I mean that.

To Veers... May I have a word with you?

 

Veers sags his shoulders in relief as soon as the Emperor leaves. Then he hears what Sohlin said and sighs, hoping that no one will be stupid enough to take her up on it.

Sohlin, to Veers: "May I have a word with you."

Veers: "Yes, Your Honor." He approaches after giving GATling a warning glare to behave

 

SOHLIN, in lowered voice: What is going on in here? Has the military suddenly taken leave of its senses?

VEERS, color flushing his cheeks: Erm, no, I really...I'm not sure what got this going, to be quite honest.

SOHLIN, eyeing him curiously: You don't say. I've NEVER seen officers this badly behaved. And who's going to pay for all this damage? I'm inclinded to make Darth Vader pay for it all, he's certainly got the money to do so.

VEERS, conspiratorily: You can do that?

SOHLIN, stiffling a grin: Well, no. Not directly. But if the bartender were to press charges, you see...

VEERS: Aaaaah, I see. And what about Needa? He tried to choke him, you know.

SOHLIN, feigning surprise: Oh, well that qualifies as attempted murder, doesn't it? Guess I'll need to have my clerk draw up a felony warrant for that!

 

ME:I'm the captain!
Tagge:Shut up *smack*

 

Looks at the droid. What in the blue H*** are you doin here!? Get us some drinks. Droids.......

The Bartender wakes up and looks around his Lounge

Bartender: "Somebody had better pay for this!"

 

Veers and Sohlin hear this and turn back to their own conversation.

SOHLIN: I think we just got confirmation.

VEERS, grinning wryly: Yes. Now let's just hope he lives long enough to file the complaint...

 

The bartender approaches the Chief Magistrate

Bartender: "I want to take out a criminal complaint against moff_Sammael, Captain Needa, HotsForTahiri78 and Darth Vad,..gah!" He begins to choke and gasp for air, his hand immediately reaching for his throat

 

SOHLIN, in Tarkin-esque voice: Enough! Vader, release him immediately!

TARKIN: Hey, that's my line!

SOHLIN: Yes, well, let's say I'm using judicial priviledge here.

 

The bartender gasps for air and drops to his knees as the invisible talons let go

Vader, in whiney mechanical voice: "As you wish."

Bartender, gasps and coughs: "Th..thanks. As I was saying...and against Lord Darth Vader for damages caused by the bar fight which they started."

 

* Walks in the Imperial Lounge *

"Hmm ... it's nice here!"

* Listens to the music and starts shaking *

* Tarkin takes a blaster and shoot *

"Aw, you shot me right in to my arm!"

* Tarkin shoot again *

"Yikes, you shot me right in the leg!"

* Tarkin looks at the blaster, throws it away and gets another drink *

 

Veers and Sohlin glance at one another upon hearing the Bartender's willingness to hold Vader accountable for the trouble.

SOHLIN: Well, sir if you will accompany me to my office, I will have a probable cause hearing...looks around at the mess and Needa rubbing his neck, the bruises apparent...on second thought, scratch that. I'll issue that warrant right now. If you'll come with me, sir?

The Bartender follows the Chief Magistrate out of his establishment, a sour look on his face. The Marshals remain behind to enforce order.

VEERS, to PIETT: Well, this is great. We're all in hot water now.

PIETT: You don't think...she'd really charge...Vader, do you?

VEERS, grinning: It's her perogative, she's the law.

PIETT: I can't believe Vader would sit still for that, though.

VEERS: I'm sure he won't, but killing off one of the highest judicials might be a little more then he wants to deal with at the moment <chuckles>.

PIETT, snorting: Hope springs eternal, I suppose.

Piett looks down at the sloppy mess of uniform he's wearing and scowls...the dry cleaning bill alone will be enough to choke a bantha!

Stops on her way out, while escorting the Bartender.

SOHLIN: I'm afraid not, Lord Vader. Martial law only extends over the civilian population, not instutitions within the governmental apparatus, and certainly not to judicial officers. I could infer your statement as an attempt to obstruct justice, and moreover, heir-designate does not give you absolute immunity from prosecution in criminal matters.

Veers tries to hide his smirk by drinking from his mug

Veers, who is glad that no one knows of his relation to Sohlin, glances down at GATling: "Now, young man its time for you to go home."

Me: "But..."

Veers: "No buts."

Me: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"

Yes, though lately we haven't. More like making fun of each other and getting into bar fights and watching Thrawn and Jello try to outdo each other in Dejarik.

Though it would be nice to talk about the Empire.
