Isn't it sad how the dumbest character in Star Wars, Needa, gets HIS fan club, but the most importaint character in the entire series, TK-421, doesn't? That's about to change!
Step right up folks, and enter- The Imperial Training Facillity- TK-421s Fan Club!

Why was TK-421c not included in the Essential Guide to Characters when he is at least as importaint to the story as, oh say, Luke?

Actually, according to the Jedi Knights Trading Card Game published by Decipher Inc., TK-421's partner in "stupidity" is TK-420.

They are noted as clones in the A New Hope expansion set of Star Wars Trading Cards.

So far I believe that the Trading Cards are the only source for this. :)

Ken Kenobi- And you have a nice day ;)

Just 1 question. Why is TK-421 percieved to be so important to the movie? That is not supposed to be a dig, I was just wondering.

Also, I agree TK-420 is hilarious.

I got a question, What was their main reason for taking the uniforms? They werent planning to go to the cell so they didt need it for that. And i think it is pretty pointless for them to be walking around in disguise with a wookie, two doids, and a Jedi knight.

They had to get off of the ship. :)

Two Imperial Stormtroopers walking around with two droids, a wookie, and an old man looks alot better than two guys just walking off of a ship with two droids, a wookie, and an old man. ;)

It was for clarification- to hide their presence while Ben turned off the tractor beam. ;) :)

It is proved by this quote:

LUKE: You know, between his howling and your blasting everything in sight, it's a wonder the whole station doesn't know we're here.

HAN: Bring them on! I prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around.

but you think Vader would have been watching the ship and noticed Kenobi walking out.

But Vader wasn't, he was with Tarkin. ;)

He did, however, order the scan on the ship because he felt Kenobi's presence. Later on, he actually does identify it as Kenobi. Yet he never actually "watched" the ship. :)

    Proved here:

VOICE: (over intercom) Unlock one-five-seven and nine. Release charges.
OFFICER: (to Vader There's no one on board, sir. According to the log, the crew abandoned ship right after takeoff. It must be a decoy, sir. Several of the escape pods have been jettisoned.
VADER: Did you find any droids?
OFFICER: No, sir. If there were any on board, they must also have jettisoned.
VADER: Send a scanning crew on board. I want every part of this ship checked.
    OFFICER: Yes, sir.
    VADER: I sense something...a presence I haven't felt since...
OFFICER: Get me a scanning crew in here on the double. I want every part of this ship checked!

    ...

    VADER: He is here...
TARKIN: Obi-Wan Kenobi! What makes you think so?
VADER: A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master.

Ken Kenobi- And you have a nice day ;)
