The inaugural xmas party is in the planning phase.

What we need to know is when you're able to make it.

Here are your options:

December 24 SUNDAY (xmas eve)
December 23 SATURDAY
December 19 SUNDAY
December 18 SATURDAY
December 12 SUNDAY
December 11 SATURDAY
December 05 SUNDAY
December 04 SATURDAY

What's your availability people?

 

I'm easy, just say when and I'm there. All those dates are good excepting the 24th. Special note 17th would be best

 

I'll check when my family christmas events are and get back to you - 24th is out for me coz I'll be doing choir again this year... Fighting with the organ with be fun

 

Probably Saturday nights for me- 9th or 16th, but a Sunday 10th or 17th is doable too.

 

Whatever date is picked, I'll almost certainly be making a fashionably late arrival. Saturdays and Sundays are days I normally work the evening shift.

 

None of the above... Oh well.

 

Sunday just isn't good for me, on account of having to work Mondays.

 

I was speaking with IC and Loz about this earlier tonight, and allow me to re-iterate. So long as a date is set at least 2 weeks in advance (to allow me to ensure I have the night off work), I'm cool with basically any time, so far as I know. In tonight's conversation, the night of the 23rd seemed to be getting favourable responses.

 

Yup, 23rd is best for me too, but a lot of those others are doable.

Lozza indicated 23rd is best for her also.

SO how would those undecided go with the 23rd Dec?
(still leaves you free for Christmas Eve/Day with family/church committments too..)

 

I'd prefer Saturday the 16th. Or Sunday the 17th.

I'm sure any of them will be fine. I haven't thoughts as far as that, so it should be ok. Ack, December is so close!

..hrmm... anyone know why an Administrator would reset the Topic/thread for the Christmas Party Date Poll? I just tried accessing it to see how the votes stood but got a message that it was being reset by an Administrator...

The Poll looks set to tip 23rd Dec as the preferred date. Which is exactly 4wks from tomorrow!!!!

Just posting some details now so you have plenty of notice to prepare.

GOOBS n I just wanted everyone to know you are welcome to bring A guest. Final numbers needed by say 19th Dec. We would appreciate a $5 donation towards costs, per person attending on the night.

We'll be supplying basic softdrinks/punch, but BYO alcohol.

There will be a Secret Santa, everyone attending to please bring a present, value $5-10. If you bring a guest, please bring a present to cover numbers.

Should be a few other 'surprises' on the night!

Currently I have no reason not to be at the party, so count me on the attendee list for now
