I know, you're all thinking: that's the movie that the Episode 3 trailer is in. Right!

Gary and I went to go see it tonight (and I really didn't want to, I wanted to see The Grudge or Saw) and much to my surprise....I LOVED IT. All I kept saying when we left the theater was, "I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!" I always did like Pixar's work, I absolutely loved Toy Story 1 & 2, and I LOOOOOOOVED A Bug's Life. This movie was just great, and even if you don't like anything Pixar or Disney, give it a chance.

PSS I'm going to do an ElastiGirl costume, and I think Natasha would make a great Violet.....even Gary agreed.

Well I feel out of the loop here. But I don't think I'm seeing this movie. I don't like animated films or Pixar or anything like that.

 

I'm not sure if I would see this movie,(although this movie does sound good) but if I did I would see it when I came home for Thanksgiving.

 

Well I already ate those words. I didn't want to see it but got talked into it this afternoon. It was actually kind of cool. Hmm you're right Marie, perhaps a Violet costume will be added to my already too long list of things to make.

 

Hee hee! I think you'd be a perfect Violet! Gary said it first though, he whispered, "It's Tashi!"

 

I also saw it this past weekend. I similarly enjoyed it!

If it wasn't Elastigirl's great little compensation for her failed attempt at infiltrating the halls of Syndrome's lair, it was the gut-busting routine where Edna Mode(voiced by the director, Brad Bird, in fact!) explains why it's a bad idea to have a cape on your superhero costume!

Brad Bird's last successful animated feature was "The Iron Giant", in which a boy befriends a giant alien robot(voiced by Vin Diesel) in a small town during the 1960s.

Surprisingly good movie, even if it is of the "old school" variety of animation.

Dang, I didn't even see this trivia question, and I knew the answer to it!! I loved Iron Giant. Great film.

 

I want to see it. I've never seen a bad Pixar flick yet, and this one must be good because it is raking in the cash fast.

I kind of wish I had picked a different name, but I keep this one because it says how long I've been registered here at TF.N. Mike's sig makes him sort of obvious. Basketball doesn't suck, but thats just my opinion. I will say hockey is the better sport to see in person.

i like the joke in the beginning of the movie when they say: "its not a graduation , hes going from 4th grade to 5th grade."

 

One of my favorite parts is when Elasti-Girl goes to see Edna, and she sees the new costumes she made, she's like, "What the HECK?"

Gotta see it again.

 

ya know if there was a NHL this year Devils would've dominated!
