Elastigirl's Buster Keaton-esque flexing on the guards in Syndrome's lair hallways was also a hoot!

I loved how Edna's Cape bit tied into the ending.

 

Yeah, ya know? I had a feeling the biggest laugh in the movie(from where I sit) would actually be a soon-to-be-referenced plot point?

 

Gary and I have a copy of it, and we watched it again last night.

Ok, maybe it's me but while watching was anyone else thinking there were some parts that just felt Star Wars-y? I wish I could recall specific ones but there were definately more than a couple!

 

The chase through the woods looks suspiciously like a nod to the speeder bike chase...even with ducking under the exact same slanted log at one point.

 

Funny that I sort of thought that too. Didn't one of those UFO-type vehicle drivers crash into a cliff or tree after looking over his shoulder?

Yeah exactly Maybe George should contact Pixar about doing the TV series. THAT would rock!!

Especially since George started Pixar before he sold it.
