I didn't have any problems with the story.

What item should Indy have been chasing for this story if not a crystal skull ?

 

Not complaining about a Crystal Skull. I've just heard that there's little character development and pointless dialogue used to string together a bunch of OTT action sequence set pieces. And little or no real tension/fear for the characters...George's specialty of late.

But as I said, I'm quite keen to go and see it. Hopefully Tuesday

 

take the movie as it's meant to be taken...an action, adventure, fun 2 hour ride & you can't help but like it.

 

I've seen it.... 2 words - typical Indy. Wouldn't have expected less...

Fits in nicely with the others IMO.

2 Hours of exciting entertainment. No meaning of life storyline or dazzling acting.
Just fun, great effects & pure escapism.. LOVED IT !

I don't understand why people are picking it to pieces, and skipp, I would be curious to see what your opinion is once you have seen it. Opinion on a film is a personal thing - we may agree with elements we hear, but only you know what you think of it once you watch it.

I've seen it twice and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've heard some very harsh criticism of it, and all I feel is sad for those people who couldn't see the fun in it, and enjoy it for it is. It is like all of the Indy films - in my opinion - a lot of fun. You can pick just about any movie to pieces, but I think that just spoils the fun and magic of the movie going experience.

Well I have now seen Indy 4, and yeah, I was disappointed. There were moments where I smiled, but overall it was a disappointment. The religious artefact theme was so strong in the previous movies, and I loved it. Such a shame. So much potential, so little delivered.

wow, they came out really red, Just processed a whole bunch of them , lots in b/w , really really pleased . Catherine and Myself did a quick Jedi Knight session last night ,which proved quite promising. So we have jedi shots now, decent ones. Took P & M to Indy in Gold class yesterday and 2nd time around , the plot holes and logic leaps seemed to be a little less expansive, and boy, did it whip through quickly, scenes I remember taking forever were over i a flash . Wayyyyyy FUN.

 

can't wait to see the Jedi shots !

& I agree it was a very fun movie. Lots of action, adventure, excitement & true to Indiana Jones name. They did an excellent job with what they had.

I have heard that Lucas is in talks to make another Indy. What I dont get is if he is well enough to make that, then why not Episodes 7,8,& 9 of Star Wars, as that is his excuse for not making them. Not that I'm complaining, I love all 4 Indies, all of them are great, but to me he just seemed to contradict himself or is it just me?

 

hey its starcoll1 here i have scripts for 7.8.9 part seven takes place 30 years after episode 6 Return of the Jedi Lucas has commented that he will not be engaged in any more star wars movies up and till 2012 which co-ensides with the 30th anvearsy of episode 6 so there could be we just have to wait and see..... the scripts i have are pretty explicit so who knows may be if we behave ourselves we could be lucky.... remember no MORE STAR WARS MOVIES UNTILL 2012 his scedule is booked up till then??????
