We'll if we get another darksider working for the empire do not be surprised if we get another red blade since they are working for the sith. Best bet to have a darksider with a blue or green blade would be an ex jedi who has become a dark jedi during the purge and has kept his or hers jedi light saber.

There used to be the belief that the Empire had "anti-alien" ( human are aliens too :) ) policy - than Palpatine was a xenophobe.

Palpatine the PT never showed any alien intolerance -surrounded by different species, Maul wasn't human.

Ss well as the Inquisitor in Rebels there seems to be another alien Imperial - at around the 90 seconds mark in the A Look Ahead video there is a grey skinned Imperial officer standing next to Agent Kallus.

I don't think he is meant to be a human.

I'm wondering if Lucasfilm are removing the "anti-alien" angle?

I think the Rebels visual guide already confirmed that the speciesm is still a thing. Inquisitor is an exception, like Thrawn was. That guy next to Kallus is human, his name is Commandant Aresko and he's in charge of the Imperial Academy on Lothal. If you think he's an alien, your standards for aliens are not very high. :p

I certainly thought he was human.

Grey-skinned and defeated looking (probably from working for far too long under the weight of an oppressive regime)? Sure.

    But to me, definitely human.

Anyway, because of his Force talents, I think it's reasonable to assume the Inquisitor gets a pass from the big guy at the top.

Kallus was almost made a Chiss, but for whatever reason, was changed to human.

Will there be an anti-alien agenda at work in the Empire? I don't know.

It will be interesting to note if the general, less-specialized Imperials are exclusively human.

    Keep an eye out!

    I try
There is a joke in there someplace about judging people by their appearance :p

I was surprised that they seemed to have gone the way Star Trek The Next Generation :)

Is there a reason for the skin being grey? He doesn't look healthy.

Does the Inquisitor remind anyobody else of Darth Desolous? Both are Pau'uns, use shields, and appear in something set in between ROTS and ANH.

The thing I like the most about the Inquisitor vs Kanan and Ezra clip is the music. Holy smokes Kevin Kiner really improved since his work on The Clone Wars. It may not be John Williams but man did I love the background music in that clip.

I also loved the Inquisitor's little smirk when his lightsaber was spinning and I loved the voice acting. Jason Isaacs' smooth and calm portrayal of the Inquisitor was awesome and so was Freddie Prinze Jr's delivery of Kanan's big no. Even Ezra's "Then we're perfect for each other!" was delivered decently.

I've always appreciated the voice acting on The Clone Wars. However, I have a feeling that I'm going to appreciate the voice acting on Rebels even more.

I actually love that line, and its delivery. It reminds me of something Anakin would've said to Dooku.

Jason Isaacs and David Oyelowo are bringing authentic English accents and believably commanding, gravitas-laden voices to the show. It's good that they were hired.

Is it possible that the Royal Guards are Inquisitors?

I recall an early draft of RotJ had the Royal Guards on the Death Star having some Force abilities and a fight with Luke. Or maybe just a fight.

They're weapon is called a Force pike but I don't know what it does.

I like that the Inquisitors costume isn't all black.

Yoda is Yoda. If those two Royal Guards had the powers of the Inquisitor, Yoda could still do that. Definitely.
