Full Series Mini Series The Inquisitors (Spoilers)

Yeah, would be nice not to have another 'betrayal' storyline.

 

This...a Darksider who actually respects Palps and Darth Vader....knows his place in the pecking order and an understanding between him and Vader that the only way he would work against Vader is on orders from the Emperor.

 

The Inquisitor is not a Sith, so I doubt he'd be thinking about overthrowing the two and ruling the galaxy.

 

I agree. From the little i've seen of him so far, he seems content at hunting stray Jedi.

 

Generally speaking...any darksider has been portrayed that way.

Not saying in every single case...but for the most part.

 

Perhaps the EU was wrong to think that all darksiders want to rule the galaxy? There's plenty of murderers in real life who aren't interested in ruling the world.

I'd say they were wrong. In TCW, Barriss didn't want to rule the galaxy; rather, she wanted to make a statement about how far the Jedi Order had fallen.

 

The Inquistor has good odds to be the character I find most interesting if I can/even bother with this show at the new place.

 

Anyone think that the Inquisitor may pull a Zukko and join the rebels for some reason? It probably won't happen, but its just a theory.

 

I still don't buy the rumours The Inquisitor will be in EpVII, though

 

Probably not that specific Inquisitor, but there's probably more than one (at least there were multiple Inquisitors in the EU), so it's possible that another Inquisitor might be in EpVII.

 

The empire had multiple inquisitors I assume.

 

This is kind of what I am hoping for...just to see Vader pull a "you've failed me for the last time..." on one of them.

 

Interestingly, this character doesn't appear to have been an infant when he was taken and trained in the Sith arts like in the children of the force, as he's in his mid 40's. So would either have been a young man by the time he was discovered or some Imperial affiliated or grunt that was transferred once they found out he was a force sensitive. The empire was humancentric so wonder how they explain the very few non-humans.

 

Barriss is definitely not someone to hold up as a regular darksider. Her fall was...unorthodox, to say the least.

The Inquisitor looks awesome with that hood, though.

 

the way I see it there are 3 options for Barriss...

1. A quick execution.
2. Life in a veritable hell hole of a prison...and a short one at that...it is bad enough for cops in prison...imagine how a Jedi would fare.....
3. Being turned by the Emperor or Vader to be an Inquisitor....and I don't think Vader would be happy about doing it and might kill her in the attempt if he is involved.

Option 3 would give us more Barriss

 

And it would be more interesting too.

 

Does it still bug anyone that the Inquisitor looks almost exactly like the Son from Mortis? I find it somewhat annoying.

I also find it annoying that such characters as the Inquisitor, Asajj Ventress, and (ugh) Darth Maul would exist but not be considered Sith. I know...Rule of Two...blah blah. But I find it unrealistic that they (especially the Inquisitor) would agree to work for Vader and Palpatine without having a desire to one day BE like them, or to one day be BETTER than them. It's like agreeing to work for Dunder Mifflin as a sales associate without expecting to move up and become regional sales manager or something like that.
