Yes, but the website for the resort didn't seem to say what country it was in, it gave the name of the peninsula though and Encarta found that.

Most houses in Costa Rica don't have lawns. That critter was in a public park. In the U.S. you'll find pidgeons and squirrels in the park. In Costa Rica it's toucans and howler monkeys.

All right, so they have pidgeons too. Those suckers are everywhere!

Well, I did it. I posted the legendary Speedo pic in the "post a pic of yourself" thread. I'll leave it there for 30 minutes, and then edit it out. Those who missed it will just have to live with it. Those who actually see it? I suggest therapy.

 

This is a strange feeling. I had joked about that picture for 7 years, yet I had never seen it until today.

OMG! Although I would hate to say "Holy Cow, the forums blew up!" in deference to lovely Hathor, I must say, WT[H] Happened? Server problem? Hackers? Some dumb admin's idea of a "retro" look, or what? As Mr. Horse would say, "Nosir, I don't like it!" (Obscure Ren & Stimpy reference).

 

I think it's a TF.N server problem. But the boards function because they are located at ign.com. It has happened quite a number of times during this year.

This image server thing seems to be happening on a weekly basis. At the moment, the problem is only aesthetic. All the forums are running smoothly and I haven't experienced the usual errors when trying to post.

 

We just yank the plug on the part of the stylesheets that hit the server that houses our banners when it gets slow as that is the problem.

I just edited an oldbie. Not just any oldbie it wasjasman, and I also saw a picture of him in speedo.

 

I got edited by Mariah once... It wasn't very diary-worthy, though.
