I'll have the book on Saturday and will try and get through it that night. I know, I'm bringing up the rear, all of my fellow Jagateers have the book.
That is what I'm hearing from everyone, "Kick, you're going to love this book!" I'll admit that Aaron's last SW book, Fury stands at number three on my list of SW books. Apparently, it's got Fel. And I'm hearing that it's serious sexy coming off of the damn page Jag Fel is kriffing Batman galaxy owning kicking ass and taking names... kriffing Jagged Fel. Life is good. And my second favorite SW author to boot who is always good for some witty dialogue... and I can appreciate that. Yeah, I'll be up late Saturday and then IrishKatarn will fuss when I lay out of church Sunday morning.
Ok I will highlight the spoilers and if the aren't allowed on here then you can take them off Ker or whom ever does that. In the first chapter after Jag talks to the Bothan, Jaina and him are in a conference room by themselves and start to kiss. Once the are done they star talking and Jag has a few plans. He starts talking about Jedi in the Remnent ( which he gets offencive by. He corrects people and tells them that it is the Galactic Empire)offically. Jaina doesn't think that the GA will allow that and here is the rest of it. Jag: "Well there's such thing as unofficial presence. And there's such a thing as rival schools, schismatic branches, and places for former Jedi to go when they can't be at the Temple." Jaina smiled again, but now there was suspicion in her expression. "You just want to have this so I'll be assigned to come to the Remnant and set it up." That's a motive, but not the only one. Remember, to the Moffs and to a lot of the Imperial population, the Jedi have been bogeymen since Palpatine died. At the very least, I don't want them to be inappropriatly afraid of the woman I'm in love with." Sorry if this is not allowed on the board
Okay, I couldn't stand it anymore and drove all the way over to west Knoxville in the rain and in Friday afternoon traffic to get the book. Starting to read now.
arghhh!! (not the pirate sound tho...) I can't wait! I shall be reading it monday night!!!!! Corran, tycho, and wedge will have to keep me company for now
