Yeah Vogt, I'm the New-Yorker here! I also have to agree with the people who said that the barbeque in the south is really awesome. I had my first real pork bbq last summer in Memphis during my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary and it was so moist and wonderful that it didn't even need any extra bbq sauce, which is amazing to me because we Yankees can't grill worth anything! I always end up having to use A1 or KC Masterpiece on any grilled meats because we're just not good at it! My relatives had to tell me the difference between bbq and grillin'.

Arkansas always seems to be my "hick state" of choice. I'm not quite sure why, but I suspect it's because ol' Bill Jeff came out of there. I always found him funny just like I find monkeyboy to be funny right now!

What does Jaina look like? I mean she's short with brown hair and eyes, but what actress do you all think looks the most like her.


Personally I think the girl who is on the show Dark Angel would be good. <sorry I don't know the name>

Her name is Jessica Alba--- and I hate to disagree, but I have to. To a certain extent, yes, she does remind you of Jaina (her charisma and beauty), but I think of Jaina as more.... caucasion. Jessica Alba is hispanic.


The girl who played Penny in "Lost in Space", Lacy Chauber (SP?) has won the most votes in the Casting Call, and I think she's pretty good.

 

Her voice makes my ears bleed though.

I like Beccas idea of Shiri Appleby from Roswell. I'm not sure who the Alias girl is, I'm way behind on tv. With me, once I've read something no actor can make it what I want anyhow though. Except in cases where I haven't liked the character and the film actually redeemed them for me.

 

I agree with Frey, I've formed my own image of Jaina based on what I've read and no person can fit that image entirely.

But the girl who played Faith in Buffy and Angel would make a good post-SbyS Jaina.
