Every time you say Python I think of Python

 

Apparently it also has a lot of Monty Python references in itself - a friend of mine, who is a nut into obscure programming languages and OS's, told me that they have a code library that's called The Cheese Shop.

 

Don't be too worried, Slytherin. If the chatter on the Ravenclaw boards is anything to judge, this will be the year of the Battlestar Galactica references, not Python (well, not as much, at least XD).

Actually, don't be surprised if there ends up being more BSG-related stuff than HP-related

 

I think our stuff will most likely be a combination of Monty Python, the Beatles, Discworld and Doctor Who... and maybe some HP as well...

 

Er, sorry, I'm not sure if I just missed it, but is there a Hufflepuff board as well?

 

Each house has its own board (off the JC - someone on Hufflepuff should be able to let you know where it is) for discussion amongst house members, who will do which tasks, etc.

Semi-Important Stuff

I did the task list last night, but after two and a half hours, a lot of them are the repeats we do every time (Nicky, how did you not hate us? ). So, if you've got a fun task idea, PM it to me and I'll consider adding it

 

The repeats totally made it easier because that was less creativity I had to pull out of thin air. I suppose they do get boring after a while, though.

 

I'm kinda hoping that it's been enough time that people won't be too bored with them

 

I think this is a valid strategy.

On the plus side, there's totally more material to draw from now than there was before.

All right, we're looking good. The only team that really needs another player or two is Slytherin (not that two more people can't sign up for Hufflepuff, but we do need some slytherins!).
