Just out of curiosity (and because there's supposed to be) does Hufflepuff have any returning members?

And on that note, has Amaya already said she can't play? If she hasn't, someone might want to contact her and point her to the thread.

 

Not so far. I'm going to be PMing some people who played before to see if they want to play again and just missed the signup thread. I'm also going to postpone the start of the game for about 24 hours (probably a little bit less unless we still don't have enough people) to give them time to see the PM. I may also tone down the Task List a little bit so it'll be easier for all the Houses to finish, if you guys think that's a good idea.

(Oh, and thanks for sending teh explanatory PMs to the new people. )

Awesome Hopefully people will respond and sign up. Maybe hold off on toning down the task list until you see how many more people sign up? Also, would it be possible to start a thread in the JCC requesting people, or would that not be allowed? (And if you don't know, we can find out if that's in idea you like/no one else signs up).

Actually, it has been suggested to me that I make there be only one task: Write the 7th book. That would be possibly more evil than just cutting out the music, though.

Well most of it is the usual so far, but I cut out the Quidditch section because it was getting kind of stale. The team creation got moved to the Creative section, though, so it's not gone completely.

 

Meh, you do that, and Cobra and I will do the tasks anyway. I already have two parodies written and ready to be recoded...

No no no, THE best idea for Book 7 is the one one girl had on this Czech forum. Let me translate:

Voldemort could realise how much evil he has done, repent his deeds and go to a monastery (or some wizarding equivalent) and take his Death Eaters with him. Harry could marry Ginny, Ron could marry Hermione, Hagrid could marry Madame Maxime, Neville could marry Luna (and his parents could be miraculously cured and come to the wedding), and Draco could commit suicide from his unhappy love towards Hermione. Mr Weasley could become the Minister of Magic and Dumbledore could rise from his grave. That would be some happyend, wouldn't it?

EDIT: Oh, and I had another good idea for an "everyone dies" scenario: The Order of the Phoenix could arrive to the place of the final battle (to save Harry) and pull a suicide squad - just imagine everyone pointing their wands at their own chests and yelling "Avada Kedavra!" That would show them, eh?

I'm kinda a fan of the "Rocks fall, everyone dies," plot for the 7th book myself.

 

I will join Hufflepuff.

 

I did pm some of the Hufflepuff team from the last game, but I have not heard back from them.

 

OK, are we starting yet? It's 1:45 AM here, I've just returned from my friend's birthday party (*hic* ), but I don't want to miss the start of the game!

 

It looks like we still need one more Hufflepuff player, and an experienced one, since all the current ones are new.

 

I'm thinking I may post the tasks in a bit even though we don't entirely have enough Hufflepuffs or any experienced ones. I really want to get this game started and so far it doesn't look like there are going to be any experienced Hufflepuffs right away anyways. Are you guys ok with starting nowish?
