Bought Grease on DVD.

 

Nice. I hear they're making Grease 3.

 

Yeah. Showing the characters as they are now, anno 2002. If they don't mess up and take the piss out of it / write it cleverly, it could end up OK.

 

Yeah, and if it actually has the original cast it can't possibly be worse than Grease 2.

 

Grease 2 had one good thing to it: Michelle Pfeiffer. But why is La Pfeiffer making such crap movies nowadays?

 

Yeah, it's been a while since she's made a good one. Her and Harrison Ford.

 

They don't seem to be trying very hard. One always plays the edgy-but-straight hero, the other the misunderstood not-looking-for-a-man-in-my-life career woman.

 

Not to mention Alec Baldwin.

Yeah, I wish they would take more challenging roles, it's always a shame to see talent being wasted.

 

Why are female hosts of children's programmes always so insanely hot? To make us grown-ups watch, too?

 

That must be it. Although I can't say it's the same over here.

 

That, and to appeal to those 30-and-in-parents'-basement types.
