Towards the very, very end (when it was just me & Daveed ), we got to the trailer for The Black Gestapo... holy hell, the potential there. Incredible!

 

I want a framed print of this

 

I would hope it's not next Saturday night (for Gestapo), for I've got a family event to attend, and not sure as to when I'll be home. It's likely it would work out, but I can't be sure nonetheless.

 

Sorry I had to bail without saying anything for Hellscape. I was exhausted and then my computer started fritzing so I just gave up. I had a blast with Plan 9 though!

 

I think we should always do themed playlists. Adds depth to the movie.

My wife is wondering if we could start the movie one hour earlier, not every day but at least from time to time so she can watch one of these without falling asleep.

 

If it is an hour earlier, I will miss it. BUT if we keep doing the double feature, I can always hop on for the 2nd half.
And I may have convinced The Bigger Fish to join us next time.

 

The praying Wookie druids were the highlight for me.

I had never managed to finish watching the Holiday Special. Somehow last night it didn't feel that tedious.

 

I'd be cool with an hour earlier, but as I traditionally do **** all on Saturdays after 5 PM I'm not a representative sample.

 

The commentary definitely helped. I don't know if I would have sat through the whole thing alone. Jefferson Starship was epic with you guys... alone, no ****ing way.

Also, an hour earlier is fine with me... I'll miss Yvette, though. Might not work for jp, either.

Them and Bea Arthur were the BEST parts of the movie. I am so glad 70s music has an inter-galactic fanbase.

 

By the way, I don't know if you've realized who plays the main character in The Black Gestapo.



Yes, after Richard Moll in The Dungeonmaster, we are back to Night Court actors. A good omen!

I would personally prefer an hour earlier but if it's going to be prohibitive to other viewers making it then I'm all right with the current time.

I also fell asleep during Plan 9, so I'm with Cathy on the potential timing change. If we keep doing double features then it'll work out for everyone. I'll make some espresso for Black Gestapo no matter when we watch it, though.

 

Debo make a plan... your presence is mandatory.

 

Current time or later suits me better, but as I'm the only person still active here from New Zealand, I don't really deserve much clout.
