That is not an unpopular opinion. Most of us probably hold similar opinions with differences here and there.

When I did my Initiate and Padawan tasks, I was able to work in SW history from the old EU and also the new Sequel Trilogy.

Many people on here have invented their own theories for how there can be conflicting SW histories. I have moved forward on the idea that having conflicting histories creates more tension in the universe for us to resolve.

 

That is the opinion I have stuck to since I first began writing Star Wars fan fiction in 2002 @TheRynJedi - I have made sure that my stories fit into the canonical universe with little to no deviation from the original works by George Lucas and company.

 

That's good to hear. I guess I've been feeling a little over-worried because a couple of my friends and acquaintances have been getting some really bad abuse online from people who profess to be big EU fans who are angry about the movies.

Thinking about it, the ones who are whining are not really likely to be the creative writer-types hanging around here, lol.

 

So do I post something somewhere to join up and stuff?
