Saga The Jedi of the Arena

It's set during the arena battle on Geonosis. This story concentrates on a few Jedi and we see what was going on throught their minds during the battle.

As she saw Mace Windu signal them from the balcony, the entire arena lit with lightsabers. Barriss Offee ignited her own. the blue blade shined brightly. Beside Barriss was a duck Jedi who she had seen in the Jedi Temple a few times, but did not know.

The doors of te arena opened and hundres of Battle Droids came out. Barriss looked over to another part of the arena where her Master, Luninari Undil was with Jedi Master Shakk Ti. They had to separate to diffrent parts of the arena. Barriss wondered for a moment if both of them or either ofthem would survive this. She could only hope. If they did die today, they died heroicly and bravely, doing what was right.

As her attension was brought to the blaster fire that started, Barriss lifted her blade and charged the Batlle Droids. Take them out one by one, she weilded her blade, cutting them from right, left, right, left. deflected any bolt tat came her way.

She turned to spot Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan kenobi rising from the ground with lightsabers that were thrown to them. Deflecting the bolt that came there way. Beside them was Senator Amidala, who was the leader of the oppisition to the Military creation Act. How exacly she ended up in this, Barriss wasn't sure. She just knew that Anakin had been assigned to protect her away from Coruscant after two assassignaton attemps on her life. The Senator grabed a blaster of a fallen droid and fired from oe doid to another. Anakin stayd close to her.

Barriss turned to the seven battle droid infront of her. she took out one then the two on her side. Jumping side ways from the remaining ones blaster bolt. As they came at her again she deflected them and send them back at the droids, taking two down. She charged the remaining ones, deflecting the bolts that came at her and took them both.

The Force quickly allerted her to her right. A Super Battle Droid fired her she deflected the bolts, sending one back at it, but it only stunned it for a second. The new models were tougher she had to admit. She jumped foward, lifting herself with the Force, landing inback of the droid, turning to face and brought her blade from the right, nocking down to the ground. She then lifted her blade and send it down at it. "But not tought enouth." she told herself.

Taking the blade out and turned to her right, where blaster bolts came at her. Barriss deflected them, running forward and blocking all the bolts coming infront of her and to her side.

Barriss saw her Master, just more than a dozen feet away frim her. She ran towards her, blocking the bolt coming at her.

She was now inback of her. Luninari looked at her for second and send a note of gratefulness through the Force that she was still standing. Barriss did the same.

She could feel Jedi dying around her and saw a number of fallen warriors on the ground. Barriss wondered how many of them would survive this.

Two droid came facing her. Firing at her, she deflected the bolts and send them back the droids.

The Force allerted Barris to something coming fom her left a large powerful blaster came and Barriss quickly jumpedout of the way. The blaster fire hit the ground and the presure through her farther than she wanted to good.

The young padawan hit the ground, but she was ok. getting she continued to defleced the bolt coming at her.

Barriss turned back to where she had jumped from and saw her Master still standing and ok. Luninari was still fighting bravely. Blocking any bolt coming at her and any droid coming near her.

Barriss was grateful, she turned back to the fire bolts coming at her and deflected them

She took out the Geonosian flying toward her and then three battle droids firing at her.

Mace Windu gave the signal and the arena lit with lightsabers. Kit Fisto ignited his own, the green blade appeared in his hands. He looked to his side where Agen Koler was and gave him a good luck nod. Agen did the same and Kit turned to see hundreds of Battle Droids coming out of the arena doors.

He joined more than twenty Jedi in the middle of the arena. They charged the battle droids. Screams fire bolts came at them, Kit deflected them.

When they reached eachother, Kit found himself surrounded by droids. He struck as many down as possible before the fire bolts coming at him increased.

Deflecting bolt after bolt, Kit moved fast and feirce. He found himself infront of five battle droids. He deflected their bolts and send them back at them. Taking down three, he then summoned a Force Push and nocked the remaining two down.

Kit turned to face a Super Battle Droid. It raised it's built in blaster and fired. Kit blocked and jumped to the side. The twi'lek spotted another super battle droid near by. He summoned Force and lifted the droid, sending it crashing at the one firing at him.

As the battle continued, more Jedi were fallen. There was just more than half left. Kit was near the middle ofthe arena. he continued deflecting every bolt coming at him. He came to find a battle droid, or at least most of it. There was another type of droid's head n it. It seemed scared and confused. kit deflectedd a bolt that came from it.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry about al this!" the droids head yelled. Kit saw that what ever happened to have the droid like this, it didn't want to be here. Kit a summoned Force push and the battle droids body landed on the ground the blaster it had fired one more bolt and it hit a super battle droid next to it.

Kit smiled and knew the scared droid would be alright there. He moved to to a group of droids that were firing at another Jedi and helped in cutting them down. The Jedi sent a nod of grated and they parted.

As more Jedi fell, Kit wondered where the Republic made it's mistakes that led to this. What led so many systems to separate and do this. Why was the former Jedi, Count Dooku doing this. Kit relized that Dooku had always wanted to be more pwerful and have more control. Kit relized that this would be one of the darkest days of the galaxy and the Jedi.

More Jedi fell, they were being driven back. The remaining Jedi were meeting at the center of the arena. Kit headed towards it, continuing to defleced the bolts coming at him. At the center, the reamaining Jedi continued fight feircely. The droids suddenly stopped and a voice came from above them.

"Master Winu, you have fought gallently." said Dooku from the balcony of the arena, "Worthy of recognision in the archives of the Jedi Order."

"I wouldn't say the same for you." thought Kit.

"And now, it is finished." Dooku continued

The female twi'lek Jedi, Aalysa Secura was pushed into the center of the arena with the rest of the survivors. She passed kit and stood in the middle of the survivors.

"Surrender, and you'll lives will be spared." Dooku continued

"We will are noy hostages for you to barter Dooku." Kit heared mace say from his right.

"Then I'm sorry old friend. you'll have to be destroyd." Dooku said. he signaled thedroids and they aimed their blasters.

Kit raised his blade ready to fight to the death...

Then a female human voice yelled "Look!" and Kit looked up to see several Gunships coming down. The Gunships carried soldierd in white battle suits with long blasters. In one Gunship was Master Yoda.

The droids fired at the Gunships and remaining Jedi. Kit deflected the bolts more easily sense their was less now. the Gunships's laser were taking out the droids. They landed in a circle, covvering the surviving Jedi.

Kit and the Jedi ran to the Gunships. Kit ran to wher Yoda and Mace were and was helped up by Ki-Adi Mundi. The Gunship lifted up, Kit looked below to see the [ile of recked battle droids. Also, he saw an astromec
