I think my room is great!

This new place is nice.

 

[walks in the main entrance. notices scuffling upstairs]

sounds like some people are getting their quarters done up.

[sits at bar] there are some advantages of having sleeping quarters on your ship. you don't take up any more space than absolutely necessary.

plus you don't leave anything behind if you have to leave quickly [sips drink]

 

*places finishing touches on her room and goes down stairs*

 

[notices Earwen coming down stairs and smiles]

let's play a game.

[shifts out of view to hide in the shadows]

 

*looks around the room*

I guess it will be another slow evening.

*sits on sofa and pulls out her book*

 

[glides quietly behind sofa. wraps arms around Earwen's shoulders from behind]

*jumps slightly and looks up*

Hi love! Did you just get here?

 

[giggles] not quite. I've been here a while. I was hiding.

 

*giggles and sets book aside*

And why were you hiding?

 

[shrugs] I wanted to see if you could sense I was here.

If you did, you hid the knowledge very well.

Close to the hangar, and room for all my posters and other stuff.

Seriously, I type formally because I tend to speak formally. I've been taught that to speak well is an important skill to cultivate, and I apply it to my posting.

well, formal Speech is a good thing. I am "guilty" of the same.

but you don't have to act in embarrassment toward us. [shrugs] I don't know, it just always feels like you are about to say "I'll leave you two alone". We don't do that kind of stuff in the Chat Room!

I mean, if you are uncomfortable with it, we'll stop. We don't want to drive away people from the thread.

Considering that you're a grader of papers, I don't think that'll be necessary, Earwen. Besides, you see how well I can 'speel', so it'd be the pot calling the kettle black anyway.
