i haven't seen her since the meeting to make us official, i think she has done what she wanted here, Luke has used her for what he wanted her so she's moved on

but then again what do i know? (nothing about anything)

 

The Hitch Hikers TV show was adapted from the radio series which is ALOT better!!

and has a second series...

I've not actually heard the radio version. The only radio adaptation I have is for LOTR and that is excellent - one of the best things I've bought.

 

Hitch hikers was made for radio first, then Book then TV.

they had more time to play around with sound effects and stuff and is fantastic YOU MUST HEAR IT asap!

 

Wow, thanks. I always thought it was a book first. I've read the book and it's hilarious. Once Xmas is over I might just invest in the radio series because I'm becoming quite a fan.

The first radio series is pretty similar to the TV show (as it was adapted from it) the main differents is at the end of the series instead of going on the stunt ship for sun divy goodness its the shapeshifter admirals private warship

oh yeah and trillian is not an anoying american!!

Does Marvin have more varied lines? He seems to repeat himself a lot in the TV series.

 

Marvin has more to say and do. like in the 2nd series, Zaphod asks him to cover then while they run away from a "Frog star battle robot" and Marvin gets the battle bot to try and work out what they left him to defend himself with!!

but he still has a terrible pain in all the diodes down his left side

 

i haven't read it in a long time, alas.
