The Joiner King & R2-D2

    ok i am about half way through the joiner king, and to my delightful surprise i came across the part with luke trying to fix R2 and he sees *the holo* (trying to keep spoiler free for others) can anyone let me know what is up with R2? or if telling me whats happening spoils anything dont tell me ...but if that is the case do we find out later in the series? any help would be appreciated thank you

    It's a spoiler to tell you.

    It will (likely) unfold over all three novels as we are still not entirely sure after The Unseen Queen...

    ^^ Right. But as it stands right now, R2 revealing the Holos aren't particularly important to the plot in TKJ and marginally so in UQ. But like dp4m says, after UQ, we're not too sure where Denning is going with it.
